I dragged the target inside of the compound. I threw him on the table then walked up the stairs into my room. I could hear Steve and Pietro asking what happened and why I was covered in Black goo. I just walked past them and ignored them. I shut the door behind me and sat down on the floor. I looked at my hands. They were covered in his blood. She smiled and put her hands on both sides of my face. She leaned in and kissed me on the nose. " You're very cute when you're red," She said. She got up and headed into my bathroom. I tucked my knees into my chest. I wrapped my arms around hugging them. I rested my head on my knees. " They're just kids. What was I thinking? You convinced me into sending them Natasha" I heard Steve say. I looked over at the door. " I'm 1,500 years old Steve. I should have known better" I said twirling my fingers. He entered my room. I sucked in a shaky breath. " It's none of our faults. We had no idea that they would make you do that." Steve said. " I'm glad they picked me instead of Wanda," I said backing away from the hug. " You two really care about each other" Steve said. I smiled slightly. " I hope," I said. Natasha laughed slightly. " The way she talks about you while we train... she definitely cares," Natasha said then left with Steve. I furrowed my eyebrows. She talks about me during training? " Bath is ready," Wanda said. I turned around. " You didn't have to," I said walking into the bathroom. " I wanted to." She said pulling off my blazer. I turned to her. " Considering that was our first mission together...
