Chapter 8

Priya : " Dadi , did you saw that , why is he not understanding?" Dadi didn't said anything , she let out a heavy sigh and went upstairs. 

Priya :" Dadi, Dadi please wait." Priya went behind her and followed her  to her room.

In Dadi's room, 

Priya entered her room . Dadi was sitting on her rocking chair with blank face stitching clothes for her future grandchildren.

Priya : " Dadi , please don't feel bad , I know one day he will find his love and his life will bloom once again, you just need keep some patience." Dadi didn't respond to her or said anything. She ignored her , stitching the clothes. Seeing her Dadi not responding to her words , she left her room. When suddenly Dadi spoke 

Dadi : " Priya tell the driver to get the ready. I am going to visit my sister."

Priya : " But Dadi now , at this hour wh....." She didn't let her complete.

Dadi : " I will come back soon."

Priya : " Ok Dadi."

After few minutes Dadi left to her sister's house.

In the office , 

I was working with some files , preparing for my next deal.  When  PA came in my cabin informing me about the grand celebration party in my office. I discussed with him about the conducting issues . When suddenly my phone rang, it was Nike I got irritated and cut the call . My phone rang again and it was him again, I picked up the call

Nike : " Hey, bro why aren't you picking up my calls?"

Rakesh : " Come to the point , Nike." and then what he said shocked me 

Nike : " Yes , Rakesh Dadi met with an accident."

Rakesh : " ......................"

Nike : " Hello , are you there. "

Without even wasting a second I came out of my office and drove recklessly to my mansion. My heart was beating very fast , I have already lost my beloved mother and now .... no, I will not let this happen , I can't lose my grandmother. I increased the car speed and finally after few seconds reached my mansion. 

Rakesh : " Dadi! Dadi!."

Manorama : " Rakesh."

Rakesh : " Aunt , where is Dadi, is she alright." he said breathing heavily and sweating.

Manorama : " She is fine , resting in her room." 

I ran , ran like a mad person into my Dadi's room . I got relief only to see her sitting on the couch but got hurt seeing a bandage wrapped around her head and on her hand. I went near her and cried my heart out putting my head on her lap. She woke up and smiled, started caressing my hair.

Dadi : " I am fine son, see nothing happened to me."

Rakesh : " I got scared, I thought , I thought I lost you." "Please don't leave me I will do whatever you want but please don't leave me , please." he started crying again.

Dadi : " I will not leave you my son , don't worry ."

Priya : " Don't worry Rakesh she is fine." she said feeling sad by seeing her brother's condition.

Rakesh : " But Dadi how did this happened ?"

Dadi : " I went to visit my sister today . While returning back a truck came from the wrong side and hit our car." He hugged her tightly listening to her.
