Her Second Marriage or Second Love

Chapter 22

Today was Dadi's funeral. Rakesh, Radha, Priya, Varun, Lily, Aunt - Uncle, Chaya, Nike everybody was present there. No one knew that Dadi didn't meet with an accident but someone murdered her. Rakesh didn't speak to anyone. He only speaks one-word answers. That too if they force him to speak. Nike, Varun, and Uncle took care of everything at the funeral. Radha was with Priya and Lily. While Rakesh was either with Aunt or with Chaya. Chaya got a great opportunity in getting close to him. 

Rakesh and Radha remembered Dadi's face. They remembered the time they spend with them. Radha was feeling very sad and lonely. Her only ray of hope in her life was Dadi. The one who loved her as her own granddaughter even after knowing that she is just a stranger and a replace bride of her grandson left her alone in this cruel world. The one who caretake for her and supported her. To this date, no one has ever loved her as much as grandma loved her. The way she kissed her forehead when she was sad and crying, she caressed her cheeks lovingly, all these memories were coming into her mind. And as soon as she remembered all these, tears start to flow from her eyes. But no one could see her tears. 

And the thing about Rakesh's aunt and Chaya, they don't even care. They are just waiting for the moment when they will get the property. But because of Radha, they are unable to do anything. After Dadi's funeral, everybody was going home. Both Rakesh, Radha, Priya, and Lily were in his car. The drive was very silent no one spoke. Priya and Lily will leave with Rakesh and Radha for few months since they have no one except the maid.

Days passed by but Rakesh didn't get any information about the murderer. He was constantly trying to find out. Due to grandma's death, everybody had to live together for few days. These days the friendship of Priya and Radha grew. She considered her as her own sister. Lily loved her Radha aunty a lot. Though Radha is too younger than her Priya treated her as her little sister. They cook together, go out together, share their happiness and sorrows. And these days Radha didn't even have to do work since Priya is at home and apart from that she has appointed a lot of maids. Even Nike loves and treats Radha as his sister. While Rakesh's aunt and his so-called girl best friend Chaya treat Radha as not less than a maid. Chaya always had something to blame on her. She always tried to find some mistakes so that she could trap her. She tried to go close to Rakesh. But Rakesh has been busy, she can't do anything. Even aunt always makes Radha do the whole work by herself alone. Especially when Rakesh and Priya are not at home. But uncle treated her as his own daughter. Soon this headache was over when uncle had to go back home suddenly, and as a result Chaya and aunt too went back home with him. Nike too went back to the US to continue his studies. But Priya and Lily stayed back.

Seeing Priya's and Radha's friendship and belongingness, the hatred which Rakesh had towards Radha disappeared. By seeing the way they share their love. He felt something for her. But he doesn't know what it is. He started falling for her. The fact is he fell in love with her the day he first saw her. But because of his mother's incident, he doesn't admit it. But now he has surely fallen for her. But he didn't show it to her. He always keeps looking at her with a thief's eye. He just talks not talks but orders her simple like ordering for tea, making his suit, tie and bag ready, making his breakfast and dinner ready, cleaning. Sometimes he deliberately keeps calling her again and again. It's actually is an excuse to keep her close. He keeps doing all these just to see her.

One evening,

All three Rakesh, Radha, Priya, and Lily were sitting in the garden having tea. Radha was playing with Lily on her lap, Rakesh was reading a newspaper. Suddenly Priya spoke.

Priya: " Radha how old are you? Forgive me I got it that's why I'm asking you." 

Radha: " I'm 19 years old." 

Priya: " Oh. What! Wait a minute does this means you didn't complete your studies."

Radha nodded her head no with a sad face. Rakesh was listening to their conversation.
