3rd person POV

After Y/N and Techno had breakfast Techno decided to stay awhile longer with Y/N. Techno ended up helping Y/N with something's that she had to get done.

Y/N is like a trader, she goes to the villages and trade's with the villagers, she mostly trade's in potions and stuff from the nether.

Techno and Y/N ended up going to the nether to gather more material that she can trade when she goes back to the villages.

Y/N's POV:
(In the Nether)

When I had told Techno that I was going to the nether to gather material that I could trade in the villages he insisted on going with me, he actually wanted to help protect me, which was a first for me, I'm used to protecting myself instead of depending on others, but it was nice- in a strange way, I mean like, I met him only a few days ago and we already slept in the same bed together and I already trust him with my life, which is also weird because it's pretty hard for people to earn my trust, trust isn't something I give to everybody I randomly meet, no, they have to do something to make me believe that I can trust them.

Yet, with him I can't help but feel safe- like I can trust him with anything.

Technoblade's POV:

As me and Y/N are walking around looking for some pigmen or brute's we could trade with, I hear a demonic ghast screech that seemed to hurt Y/N's ears but doesn't affect me at all, since I am already used to hearing it, given I am from the nether and all.

I quickly turn to where I heard the screech to see a fire ball heading straight for us, I quickly dodge the attack that was thrown towards me but then I remembered that I was not alone in the nether, like I usually am.

I jump up from where I was and look back to see Y/N untouched.

'how the fu-?'

The attack had headed her way and she didn't move from her position, so there was no way she had dodged the attack, and on top of that she didn't have anything to deflect it either

So how?

How was there not even a scratch on her?

I just stand there not a word coming from my mouth the whole time. I watch as she quickly takes out a bow and fires it towards the ghast and kills it. She then turns to me and says

"Ya comin' or are you just gonna stand there with your mouth open?"

"Huh?...oh, sorry,,, how?"

"How what?"
She asked me confused.

"How did the ghasts attack not affect you one bit? How did you survive a literal fire ball with no scratches?"

"Have you ever heard of fire resistance potions?"
She asked me dumbfounded.

"But you don't have a fire resistance potion on you though."

"I took one before we left, just to be safe."
She said shrugging her shoulders.

"Oh- that's actually pretty smart."

"Alright let's go trade!"

I mean it actually makes sense, the fire resistance potion,

'Pretty smart.'

As we were walking I could've sworn I heard Y/N say:

"It would've been pretty smart."

Though I think it might've been one of the voices, I'm not completely sure.

Y/N's POV:

"It would've been pretty smart."
I mumble under my breath.

Even though I trusted him with my life I still didn't trust him with my secret, I know it sounds stupid, trusting someone with your life but not your secret.

I just didn't trust him enough to tell him my secret yet. It does hurt to have to lie to him though...
