M.M.'s words replayed over in Butcher's mind. 'You can be that'. Could he? Could he sit down and help her? He wanted to, he wanted to take it all away, though how much would be too much? Becca was who he was trying to save. Not a Supe. But he cringed even thinking about it. How she was more than a Supe to him now. More than the woman he was sent to kill. But how do you convey that to someone trapped behind walls? His own were so tall, he couldn't reach hers.
Violet dodged the glare of Kimiko's brother, who looked at her like she would to The Seven. To him she was just like them, even with Kimiko turning his head away and frowning at him. It wasn't encouraging to have a stare like his on her, Violet pulling at her shirt.
"What the fuck was that?" Frenchie gaped just as a jerk hit the ship under the water.
"What the hell was that?" M.M. repeated, holding onto the railing.
He was fortunate to do so, as another loud jerk hit the ship, sending them all tumbling around deck. Getting up from her chair, Violet spied around for Hughie, leaning off the side to check he was okay. Hughie had been eyeing something in the water, and when Violet looked to see what it was, her face went just as pale as his.
"Take the wheel!" Butcher ordered M.M., having a look for himself.
He stood beside Violet as several sharks peaked their fins out the water, before diving below. Butcher picked up the gun that was in front of them and began to load it, walking to the back of the deck. Not hesitating to shoot, Butcher fired bullets on the water, Violet making her way to him. Holding her hands out, she felt a surge of energy through her before firing on the fish, balls of purple light flying at them. As she heard the few screeches, it still wasn't enough, a third slam under water sending her falling back.
"We lost power," M.M. informed them.
"Keep going love you're good at that," Butcher helped Violet stand before heading to M.M..
Continuing to shoot out energy, Violet gritted her teeth hearing the animals squeal. She didn't want to harm them, and she had a feeling who was controlling them. Someone who often sat back and let animals do the work for him. As she shot out more light, Kimiko's brother watched her, almost like a child watching another kid do something they themself was told specifically not to do.
"Everyone, off the boat, now!" Butcher came running up the ship.
Frenchie grabbed Violet's arm to pull her away, each off them running down the stairs and following Butcher. Out back there was a small speed boat able to hold each of them. Butcher took his jacket and got ready to board.
"Frenchie, grab the winch," he said, all of them climbing on after him.
Seeing the sharks swirl, Violet held her hands out again, loading out energy as M.M. stood beside her and fired bullets. Once everyone else was onboard, Butcher tapped Violet's side to get her to move.
"Come on, come on! Let's go, let's go!" He shouted over the gun fire.
"Fuck," M.M. cursed as the gun lost all it's bullets.
Giving Hughie a hand, Violet sat with him in the front as Butcher took the wheel.
"Go on Frenchie, start it up!" He yelled "go go go!"
The small boat sped off from the yacht and into the water, the sharks soon trailing them. She wanted to get up, Violet was eager stop the remaining beasts from getting any closer. She was the one capable of doing so, so she had to try.
"Move I can stop them," Violet confronted Frenchie who stood in her way.
"Miss Violet-"
"Love sit the fuck down or I'll make ya," Butcher gave her a stern look.
