When Sofia barges on my window, I quickly open it and she laughs as she throws on the floor two huge bags, before climbing in herself. I'm thankful for my father letting me have my room downstairs, because I have no idea how I could sneak her in otherwise. Perhaps with a ladder, but they would likely shoot her if any of his men see her.
I smirk at the thought, and help her in. She dusts herself off, before looking up at me. During my whole childhood, I always viewed her as beautiful. Her body was curvier, and her hair was brown and curly. Though I am more tanned than Sofia, her hazel eyes and hair match perfectly with her pale skin colour. When she stumbles as she finally gets into my room, I laugh, closing the window.
"I'm glad you're here," I whisper, squeezing her shoulder.
"Honestly, I wouldn't let you go alone to have sex with the highest mafia leader possibly known without me there. But, that is not why I'm here. First off, you clearly need me because knowing you, you will cry the moment you think about it. Second, I want to read a bit trough the folder as well."
"And you couldn't do that on the jet?" I laugh, handing her the folder.
"No," she glares at me. "On the jet we will be distracted by the sight and the cold weather, may I mention? I hope you bought a thick cloak, cause I know I did," she shudders.
"It won't be that cold, Sofia. Maybe -15 degrees max."
"Only?" Her eyes widen. "My fucking tits will freeze and fall off!"
"Your being dramatic. Plus no distractions, remember?" I nod at the folder and she glares at me before flipping trough the pages.
While she reads trough it, I take the time to check the jet and hotel, along with mapping and writing down the clubs Matteo owns in the area. It seems that most of it is his, which will make it much easier. I make a mental reminded of trying to get a plan of his mansion, inside out, listing exists, windows, doors, etc. It will be easier to step into his mansion knowing most of it already.
Which means that one of his higher men should have the plan, because they have their own escape routes following it along, which means that I somehow need to get information from his own people without him knowing. I curse and sniffle a groan. This will be harder than I thought.
"He's quite a simple man, I must admit," Sofia murmurs next to me. "The amount of guards that are around seems high but his security might have a small hole he didn't notice, which I can use to hack into. The penthouse is provided with computers, so I'll be inside, guiding you."
"Did you grab the plug? We cannot trust any devices."
"Of course I did," Sofia scoffs in annoyance, and I laugh. Ever since I met her she had a pull towards the stuff based on technology. Over the years she started gaining money by being a hacker, for a good cause. She knows computers as well as I know my weapons.
I think it was supposed to be like that, in a way. Her being the one that watches over me and stays safe, while I enter the danger. When she had her own missions, she missed the feeling of the keyboard underneath her fingers and this trip may be an opportunity to the both of us.
