Big Time Rush Pre-Teen Girl Problems: The Adventure Continues

Ch.3005

*Friday at school Ashley goes home excited and tells her parents she got on the A/B honor roll. They tell her how proud they are of her that she earned a special vacation to Florida and that she can invite her friends. She hugs them and goes upstairs to get packed*

*In Ashley's Room*

This is so exciting Frankie. I love Florida! *Hugs him*

*After she finishes packing she brings her suitcase downstairs then texts Jayden, the guys, Gabriel, Shane, Nathan, Thomas, Tanner, Andy, Henry and Steven to come with her*

*They all get on a train which makes Steven excited. Fast forward to their arrival at a pet friendly hotel called La Quinta. While waiting in the lobby for her parents to get checked into the room she sits down with the other kids. They're all staying in a suit on the top floor to accommodate all of them. When she walks in she sees a familiar face smiling at her*

Ryder: Hey there shorty

*Smiles real big* Ashley: Ryder! *Hugs him tightly* I'm so happy you're here. I've missed you so much

Ryder: I've missed you too

Ashley: What are you doing here?

Ryder: I'm part of your surprise. I'm gonna take you and your friends on a very special tour of the Clearwater Aquarium

Ashley: OMG! That's where Winter and Hope live! Dolphin Tale was filmed there! I love that movie so much! Omg, omg, omg! *Excitedly squeals and jumps around. Steven thinks she's funny and jumps with her laughing*

Ryder: Are you ready for a day full of fun and adventure?

Ashley: Yes! Let's go!

*They all take a bus to the Clearwater Aquarium*

Ryder: I want you guys to meet some friends of mine. This is Pierrie and Pascal. They moved here from France to work as marine biologists

Jayden: Bonjour salut je m'appelle Jayden

*The rest of the gang looks at him surprised*

Shane: You know French?

Jayden: Yeah a little. My grandma is from France. She taught me some words when I was 8

Shane: Cool

Pierre: Nice to meet all of you. I'm Pierre. This is my twin brother Pascal

Pascal: I'm older by 15 minutes and proud of it. Wow we have some furry friends to meet

Shane: This is my princess Riley. And the other dogs are Tucker, Tyson, Yoshi, Frankie, Ruby and Oscar

Pierre: Wow those are some awesome names. Ok it's time to start the tour. First we'll look at the otters. *They all walk to the exhibit*

Pascal: In here is 2 North American river otters named Walle and Boomer. We call this the Otter Oasis. They love to play with their toys all day long

Katie: They're cute

Tyler: Super cute

Gabriel: What's their special story?

Pierre: That's a very good question. Walle is a 10 year old male who arrived here on 11/19/2012. Walle was rescued from the wild as a very young otter. His rescuer raised him on his boat and thought he was doing the right thing by keeping him as a pet. As Walle continued to grow and develop, his caretaker recognized that caring for a juvenile otter was much more intense than a regular household pet and assumed that if Walle were placed back into the wild, he would resume life as a normal otter. Much to his caretaker's dismay, Walle returned to the boat. What his caretaker did not know was that North American river otters must learn survival skills from their mothers and family group. Walle's caretaker realized that Walle would continue to return, so he was transported to a wildlife rehabilitator in Gainesville, FL. Shortly after that, Clearwater Marine Aquarium received a call from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission asking if Walle would be able to reside at the aquarium under the care of our animal care staff.
Prior to coming to CMA, Walle was transported to Homosassa State Park and was put under quarantine to be sure he was not harboring any diseases or parasites. During this period, staff members were sent to the park to familiarize themselves and begin building a relationship with Walle.
