*Later after dinner he goes back to his room and plays with the cats then goes to bed*

*The following Friday is Ashley and Jayden's field trip to a water park called Waterworld California*

*On the bus Ashley is very quiet most of the ride. Jayden just thinks she's bored from the ride. After the bus arrives at the entrance of the park the class gets off and their teacher Mr. Hayson tells them to chose a buddy to be with for their visit then they enter the park*

Jayden: Wow this is amazing. Isn't it amazing Ashley?

Ashley: Yeah it's ok

Jayden: You feeling alright?

Ashley: Yeah I'm just tired from the bus ride

Jayden: Well I hope you're not too tired for a day of awesome never ending fun. Come on let's go choose a ride

Ashley: Ok

Jayden: Whoa look at that one *Points to it* That one is called Break Point Plunge. It looks like a load of fun. Come on Ashley we should get in line for before it gets too long

Ashley: Um...no thanks. You go. I'll stay here

Jayden: Ashley come on it'll be so much fun

Ashley: I can't

Jayden: Why not?

Ashley: I just can't

Jayden: Ashley I can't help you if you won't tell me why

Ashley: Well I don't need your help! Leave me alone!

*Jayden is shocked by her outburst and frowns* Fine you wanna be difficult? Then be that way. I just wanted to help *Sits on a lounge chair and sighs in his knees*

Ashley: Jayden I'm sorry. It's not your fault. I know you're just trying to help and I shouldn't of yelled at you

Jayden: If you don't need my help then fine. I don't care anymore. Just don't yell at me again please

Ashley: I won't I promise

Jayden: Good now what's really bothering you?

Ashley: The big water slide you want to get on. I'm terrified of it

Jayden: Why?

Ashley: Cuz when I was younger I got hurt on one and ever since I've been really scared and nervous to be near them

Jayden: Wow. So why were you so nervous to tell me all this? I'm not gonna judge you on it

Ashley: I know it's just hard to talk about. Just like how it's hard for you to talk about your prosthetic arm

Jayden: Oh I understand now. Ok I've got an idea

Ashley: What would that be?

Jayden: We try all the small rides and work our way to one I want to get on that way you'll be relaxed and more confident about it

Ashley: You really think that'll work?

Jayden: Yeah I think it will

Ashley: Ok

*They get on several small water roller coasters and raft river rides. By noon Mr. Hayson gathers everyone for lunch*

Jayden: We've been on all the easy rides. How are you feeling Ashley? Are you ready for the big one?

Ashley: Um...I think so

Jayden: Great. It's gonna be so much fun

*They relax for 30 then get in the line*
