*On Friday at school Andy and Steven are very excited about the field trip their science class is going on. They outside and the teacher makes sure all 15 students are on board. On the way to the destination most of the students are staring outside or chatting. A few are on their phones. Finally after 30 minutes in traffic they arrive at the fun location*

*At San Diego Zoo*

Ms. Watkins: Ok class I want everyone to use the buddy system and be on your best behavior. Follow instructions and have fun.

*Everyone gets off the bus single file and waits for further instructions*

*Steven tugs the bottom of Andy's shirt*
(Whispering) Hey Andy?

Andy:(whispering) Yeah buddy?

Steven: Wanna see the elephants first, but nervous to ask

Andy: Don't worry I'll do it for you *Walks up to Ms. Watkins*

Hey Ms. Watkins?

Ms. Watkins: Yeah? What's up Andy?

Andy: Steven and I wanna see the elephants first. Can we?

Ms. Watkins: Maybe. It's up to the tour guide

*After 5 more minutes a male tour guide arrives* Hey kids. Welcome to the San Diego Zoo. Whose ready for a fun and educational safari ride? *The class cheers* Awesome. We've got a really cool train to ride in as we look at all the animals. And it looks like an animal is here in the group. Hey there pal
*Tyson barks happily*

Steven: Tyson my dog *Smiles proudly*

Tour Guide: Such a handsome name for a handsome dog

Andy: He's a service dog for my cousin Steven

Tour Guide: Wow that's really cool. Ok kids time to get on the train. *They get on*

Andy: Steven really likes elephants. Are we gonna see them first?

Tour Guide: We sure are

*They go to the elephants, giraffes, lions, chimps, hippos, rhinos, gazelle, and hyenas. Then go to some animals from Alaska like Bears, caribou and wolves who howl and Tyson howls Back. Steven and Andy laugh* Next is the Asian animals which consists of Pandas, red pandas, some monkeys and birds, more elephants and deer. After that they look at other animals like koalas, kangaroos, moose, tigers, polar bears, penguins and even various reptiles. Once the safari is over everyone is ready to eat something*

Ms.Watkins: Ok class you can go buy anything you like. Listen VERY carefully. We are in a public area BEHAVE yourselves. I'm going to put you in groups of four. Connor and Robbie you're with Andy and Steven

Connor: Hi

Robbie: Hello

Andy: Nice to meet both of you. *Steven doesn't say anything and shyly looks down*

Connor: Hi Steven

Robbie: Hey Steven *Holds out his hand to shake it but nothing happens*

Andy: Gosh I should've said this already. He's not really the type of kid to do those kind of introductions. He's Autistic

Connor: We know

Robbie: It's really obvious

Andy: You're not gonna tease him for it right?

Connor: Of course not. Why?

Robbie: You think we're mean?

Andy: I just met you guys. And if you're so nice how come you've never talked to us at school? *Frowns crossing his arms*
