Downhill

Clay was driving home after visiting his mom and sister. It was nice for him to get out of the house. He needed distractions. He listened to music on his way home and sang his heart out. Once he pulled into his driveway he turned off his car and walked into his house. Patches greeted him with a soft meow. "Hi Patches, I missed you."

He dropped his stuff on his table and walked into his living room. He laid down on the couch and turned on his tv. For some reason, something felt off. But he couldn't quite figure out what it was. God another thing that's gonna be hanging over my head. An hour or so after we started watching tv he felt himself start drifting off to sleep. He got off his couch and groggily walked into his room. He quickly changed into shorts and a t-shirt and got into bed.

He was woken up by a text. It was Sapnap. "Hey, dream! Would you wanna do a dream team stream today? It feels like we haven't talked in forever," He sighed. "Yeah sure, what time?"

"No idea, maybe an hour or two?"

"Sounds good, cya then."

"Mhm mhm."

Shit, he really had been sleeping in way too late recently. He figured he might as well just stay in bed on his phone until he called George and Sapnap. The hour went by pretty quick and he soon got a text from Sapnap. "Ready?"

"Mhm, lemme get on my pc."

He was happy to get to talk to George. I mean he was Clay's boyfriend after all. But, Colt. That dumb bitch Colt.

A couple of minutes passed by before Clay joined vc. He was greeted with the usual "Hi Dream!" George seemed happy to talk to him. Oh my god, he's literally my best friend why am I overthinking him being excited to talk to me? The three decided to just play random games on hypixel cause they were mostly out of ideas otherwise. After about an hour of playing, everything was mostly normal. There was a small ding from Clay's phone. It was Sapnap.

After a bit, they all decided hypixel was getting boring so they agreed on playing some weird mod they found. They just messed around and figured beating the game might be fun to attempt with the mod. It was the same old yelling at Sapnap for being dumb and Clay chasing George around trying to kill him for absolutely no reason. Eventually, George had to go, then Sapnap. Clay got a glass of water and went to go think, per usual. Wait, it's been a little over a week since that dumb letter was sent out. George had to have gotten it right? Why didn't he text me about it? God, I really fucked things up. Shit shit shit. I'm such a failure. No, he wouldn't just ignore it. Would he? Maybe he hasn't gotten it yet. No there's no way. Clay checked messages, nothing. Snapchat, nothing. Guess he really did ignore it. That's fun.
