Mistakes and Mess-ups

George could hear the silence the discord call after he told Clay, why did he tell Clay he liked someone else? Why did he ruin him and Clays perfect relationship. "George, I- I don't even know what to say." Clay said in sobs. He was shaking like crazy. He was scared of loosing George. "Clay i'm so sorry. I really fucked this up. I should have told you sooner and i'm rea-" George was rambling on. Clay cut him off. "George just stop. Don't trip over your words." Clay said an absolute mess. He was trying to collect himself but he couldn't stop thinking about the fact one of the most important people in his life was telling him all this. "Clay I can try and fix this." George said panicking. He still cared about clay. Of course he did. Clay was to the point where he couldn't even bring himself to words. "I uhh, I need to go" Clay said shakily. George watched Clays icon leave the discord call. Clay went to listen to music to calm him down. He clicked on Apple Music and then first song that came on was Heat Waves. He knew he wouldn't be able to get through this. 

Clay laid his head back and closed his eyes. Heat Waves playing softly in the background of his jumbled brain. Eventually he fell asleep and Patches jumped up lightly onto him and cuddled into his chest. That morning when Clay woke up he was instantly so confused. "Oh hey Patches!" He said with a smile. Softly petting his cat and hearing her small purr. He grabbed his phone, "It's 12 PM?!?" He said in panic. He saw two missed calls from Sapnap and one text from George. "Hey, me and Sapnap are going to play on the smp for a little. We'll be in vc if you'd like to join :)" Clay was so confused. Was George acting like nothing happened last night? He sat up on his couch petting Patches and thinking. Was all of this really worth loosing him and Georges friendship? "No matter what happens to me and Georges relationship, I can't let it ruin our friendship" He shouted out loud. 

He got up from his couch and started up his pc. The glowing screen lighting up his messy hair and noticeably tired face. He joined the vc. "OMG chat, Dream is here!" George said with excitement. Sapnap and George both yelled "Hey Dream!"                                                                               "Hey guys." Clay replied quietly. He didn't know wether the fact George is acting like nothing happened, or the fact Georges voice still gave him butterflies was the reason he wasn't able to think straight. He soon heard George and Sapnap saying from the call, "Dream!?? Dream!??"        "Oh hey guys, I guess I zoned out" He replied.                                                                                                          "Oooo Dream was probably thinking about Georgeeee" Sapnap teased. Did George not say anything to Sapnap? "Strange."  Clay said to himself softly. "Huh?" Sapnap said a few seconds later. "Oh uh nothing you're such an idiot" Clay replied.                                                                                      "What? I'm just telling the truth." Sapnap giggled.                                                                                                  "So what are you guys doing?" Clay tried to change the subject. "Oh just messing around on the smp, you should join." George suggested. Clay started up Minecraft and joined the smp. Everyone quickly said in chat, "Hey Dream!!"                                                                                                           "Hey guys! :D" Cay replied in chat.

Clay, George and Sapnap played for almost four hours. Clay almost completely forgot what happened last night. "Oh my gosh it's almost 3:30" Clay said confused. "Yeah, did you loose track of time again?" George replied giggling. "Shut up, I need to eat"                                                          "Okay bye!" George and Sapnap yelled as Clay left the discord call. He sleepily walked into his kitchen but saw Patches laying on his bed. He walked into his room and took a picture of Pacthes. He posted it on Instagram with the caption "Patches stole my bed" 

He headed back into the kitchen and finally made himself food. He went through his phone and checked his social media and emails. He went onto Twitter and tweeted, "I'm eating a sandwich :P" Clay put his phone down and continued eating his food and looking out his window and the humid, dry Florida weather. He finished his sandwich and cleaned up his kitchen. He laid on his couch slowly and turned on the tv. Patches snuggled into his chest and meowed softly. "Awhh Patches you're so cute." He smiled. He watched the tv for a little. The entire time all that was going through his head was, "Why did George act like nothing happened?"
