Butterflies filled my stomach as Paulina was fixing the train of my dress and Vera was fixing my make-up. I knew I was going to cry, hopefully not too much. I didn't want to walk down the aisle and leave a trail of tears behind. "You ready?" My dad's voice was blurred out, I was so focused on the door opening and that my future was awaiting me. I took a deep breath (or attemped too) and I could already feel the tears building up. The door flew open and the classic "here comes the bride" was being played. I could feel everyone's eyes on me but I kept mine on Evan. He brought his hand to his face, trying to cover his tears but failing. I giggled but felt tears roll down my face as well. It was finally my day.
As I got to Evan we were both bawling our eyes out along with paulina."You may now exchange your vows." Evan went into his suit pocket and pulled out a crumpled piece of paper. He sniffeled and whiped his tears away. "Taissa Farmiga, As they say love doesn't age, and my love for you will never age. In fact it grows for you everyday. I'd take my life for you, I'd do anything to make you happy, I'll obey any command. The night we met I knew I found the one, the one I wanted to grow old with, to sit at a bench and watch the sunset while we laid in each other's arms. I knew from the start I loved you. And that will never change...ever. Even when we're old and don't look as stunning as now, you will still be the most beautiful girl in the world to me. You're all I want. You're all I have. All I want is for you to be mine."
I laid my head on Evan's chest as we slowly swayed back and forth to our first dance. This day would be unforgettable, Evan's vow really did it for me. This whole time he loved me, and he still does. He was one of the most handsome, intellegint, witty, quirky, funny and sweet guy I've ever met. "You ok?" Evan cocked his head, he notcied I was inspecting his face. "I'm fine, just a little overwhelmed." I said with a grin.
The guests left around 2am but for me and Evan it was still a party. He carried me outside where a huge blanket of sand was in front of us. It was the same beach Evan proposed to me on. Before I could speak Evan put his finger over my mouth and winked. I was quite confused on what he was about to do until he started stripping. He didn't stop until he was completely naked. "Oh um, should I do the same?" I mentally slapped myself, Taissa Evan is your husband get it together. I did the same as Evan then he grabbed my hand. He dragged me into the water. We dove in and it felt amazing, he grabbed my waist and kissed me. "I don't want this day to end." Evan said mocking me to when we came here on our first date. "I love you Evan Thomas Peters." "I love you too Taissa Peters."
I forgot for a brief second I was Taissa Peters, It had a nice ring to it.
