Wedding bells

The first day of the rest of our lives

The glare of the sun hit my eyes as I slowly opened them. I hesitated to continue waking up because I could feel Evan's warm embrace around me. I turned my head to see him sleeping like a baby, I giggled and kissed his nose. It scrunched up a bit after I kissed it which caused me to giggle again. I threw on a tank top and Evan's boxers. I wanted to make breakfast in bed for him, I wanted our official first day of being together to be special.

I grabbed the pancake batter, chocolate chips, bacon, and potatoes and started whizzing my way around the kitchen. Once everything was finished it had to look presentable. I grabbed a flower and vase, I put on the tray where I layed the food in an orderly fashion. I made my way to our room and put the tray on the dresser in front of the bed. I started fixing things around the plate until I heard a moan. I smiled knowing Evan had just woke up.

I was laying the slices of bacon to form a smiley face until I felt large hands wrap around my tiny waist. Evan's chin nuzzled into my shoulder. "Morning sunshine." He kissed my cheek. "Morning." My face got red, I still blush when I talk to him. "Aren't those mine?" he said tugging on the boxers. "Yes" I said tunring around holding his hands in place. "Well I kind of need them." I looked down at him realizing he was still naked. "Oh my, um here you go." I took them off and threw them at him still shading my eyes. I have no clue why I'm so awkward around Evan but it bugged me.

"Last night was amazing." Evan said while pulling me in for a kiss. "Agreed." I smirked. "I have an awesome day planned for us, go get changed." I was suprised Evan actually planned a romantic day with me. I felt so lucky to have him, I even wanted to start crying just thinking that he's mine. I got dressed in my high waisted denim shorts, a Ramones shirt, and cardigan. I threw my hair in a pony tail and put on some mascara. I walked out and Evan was wearing a Ramones shirt as well with jeans. He walked over to me grabbing my waist yet again. "Now everyone will know we are together." He said giggling. "Come on let's go." I tugged on his shirt and lead him to the door.

Our first stop was ice cream. Evan knew I had an obsession with mint chocolate chip, so he bought the biggest bowl of it just for me. "No, babe I can't." I said pushing the bowl away. "Come on! I've seen you eat bigger things before" he said while winking. My jaw dropped and I smacked his arm. "Be quiet you" I urged and began to dig in.

We walked around for awhile until Evan brought me to our next destination. "No way!' I said. Right before me was a giant bouncy castle Evan rent for an hour. "I have no clue if this is romantic, but I just figured the since we both have the brains of a kindergartner you would enjoy this." I turned to kiss Evan then yanked his arm pulling him into the castle. We hopped around for an hour with no breaks. At the end of our time we laid at the bottom of the castle looking up to the sun. Evan rolled over to me. "Hey, I love you." he whispered. I turned to him "I love you too." "I will always love you Tai." "I will always love you Evan." both of us were getting teary and were about to kiss." HEY YOU TWO KIDS GET OUTTA HERE YOUR OUR IS UP." a grumpy old man who mustv'e run the bouncy castle was yelling at us. Me and Evan started cracking up and made our way to the next spot.

"Ok, this is the final place." Evan said. . I had a blindfold over my eyes. "Evan Thomas Peters where are we going." "Shh, listen." I shut my mouth and opened my ears. I heard the soft sound of waves, I kept walking and felt sand between my toes. I yanked off the blind fold. Evan brought me to the beach where the sun was setting over the horizion, it was a picture perfect moment. Evan grabbed my arm. "Let's go!" He jumped into the ocean and I followed. We swam around until it got darker then it was only us and the stars. "I don't want this day to end." I said to Evan while laying next to him. "Tai, Come on." He sat up and brought me with him. "No- I don't want to go in the ocean agai-" I was cut off by Evan bending down on one knee.
