Scarlett's POV

"Scar!!! Wake up!!!" I heard Brittany while she shook me so hard I think I died for a second. I totally forgot Brittany was even here.

"Ugh, what do you want?" I said pulling the pillow over my head. Then I realized it was Friday. I can survive!!! I shot up from the bed and ran to the drawers. I put on my skinny jeans and a random shirt. Then came my converse and my hair. Stupid hair. Brush, brush, brush!!!

"Ok let's go Brittany!!!" I grabbed her arm, ran downstairs and found the limo. I need to ask my mom for a mercedes benz instead.

I sighed, it was more like a sigh of relief. Then Brittany made me freeze.

"So where'd you go yesterday?" Brittany said staring out the car window. I'm completely stoned.

"Oh nothing, I just... Went to meet an old childhood friend," I said trying to be cool.

"Uh huh what's your friends name?" She said, she knew I was hiding something.

"Oh look! We're here! We just have to walk a little," I said opening the car door. I walked as fast as I could.

"Wait Scarlett! Tell me NOW." She was serious, I took out my phone and texted her everything.

Her eyes were wide opened and then she hugged me. I knew she forgave me when she said,

"Just never ever do that again,"

I was happy that she forgave me. We saw Autumn and ran to her. After saying our 'Hellos' and 'Goodmornings' we went inside.

Then I felt someone grab my waist, Brittany and Autumn turned around with shocked faces, and other people just stared. I felt so furious! I never felt furious like this before, but Scarlett, you must keep your cool and walk away. So I did I walked away, walking as fast as I can. I walked with both Brittany and Autumn at my side. I thought he said he wouldn't talk to me or my friends anymore!!

Ahh, lunch. I was happy that I saw Nick with another girl, but I also felt bad for the girl. I could tell she really liked him and she was about to be broken. Just another toy.

"Hey Scar, so how was his kiss?" Autumn said, my cheeks turned red.

"Oh it was nothing, just a little kiss," I said, I should go to acting school!!

"Yeah ok, but tell us all about it!!!" Brittany squealed, then I realized how much, her popularity has gone down.

"It was nothing, really he's just another one of those stupid people." I said, 'cause it was true. The conversation ended there when someone came.

"Hey, heard your Nick's new lady." The guy said. How annoyed was I right now? Very annoyed! I dumped my food all over the guy.

"Oops, sorry I have to go." I walked to the bathroom.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. I wonder how long I could live like this. I wonder when my mom will get another promotion so we could move somewhere else. Ugh, I can't survive a day here! How about home-school? It's not too late! Now I'm sounding spoiled, life was never this hard for me. If he was going to play this little game, I might as well play along. Just keep your cover here and when you're not here blow it. That's my new schuedule! I leaned against the door and thought about how long I could keep my cover, well I could tell some people already knew I wasn't shy at all. I'll just play shy girl in and out. I texted Brittany and Autumn.

I walked outside and bumped into Nick. I walked around him and walked to Brittany and Autumn. Then I went outside and sat down on the bench. Secret Hershey bar here I come!!! I bit into the bar. It was so warm, soft, and delicious. Then I found Nick sitting next to me. I ignored him and kept biting. He just stared at me. He broke the silence.

"Hey can I have a bite?" He said with his signature smile.

"No," I said walking away. There was no way I was going to lose my cover because of him.
