It was Tuesday morning, Wanda had just awakened. She had- somehow- fallen asleep on the couch, the Television still playing.
After she had hung up on Natalia, she felt uncommitted to do anything except lay there, head empty, and no thoughts. She only had the television on for background noise.
A silly old sitcom was playing on the TV. She then realized, she had bought some old digital blue ray discs of shows she enjoyed while growing up. Wanda wondered, whatever happened to them?
She knew she had packed them when she moved into her apartment, they were probably in her closet somewhere.
She got up, wiped the drool off her face and wrapped her hair up in a ponytail, about to go on a quest for the forgotten gems, as she called them.
Wanda walked to her closet and opened it. She placed her hand on her forehead in disappointment. There were clothes close to falling off their hangers, shoes unmatched and just a whole bunch of dust.
Wanda had kept her more recently worn clothes in her drawer, that way she didn't have to force in all her clothing in one spot.
She figured, this would also be a good time to clean and reorganize her room. So she did. She separated certain clothes in piles on her bed, moving them around in the air as red magical scenery controlled them.
She had also matched her shoes in the corner of the room, making a mental note to get a shoe drawer later on.
She rid all the dust with simply a snap of her finger, revealing a stack of DvD's she had been keen on locating.
She brought herself to the closet and placed the DvD's in her hands, carrying it over to her bed so she can go through them individually.
Wanda smiled as she went through the DvD's, including shoes such as Growing Pains, I love Lucy, Bewitched, The Brady Bunch, and Full House. All the memories of watching them passing through her mind as each DvD came into her hands.
The nostalgic energy was thick, so Wanda decided to bring the DvD titled, "Full House" back to the living room, inserting it into the DvD player.
Ever since Wanda was a little girl, she always liked to imagine herself as one of the characters. It was so much fun for her, visualizing her life as a cheesy sitcom.
She imagined if she ended up getting the house she wanted with Vision, if they lived like couples on television. It was a silly fantasy, she knew that, but it was so endearing.
Wanda watched as Becky and Jesse
kissed sweetly on the television, while DJ and Stephanie exclaimed "Gross!" while they were at it.Wanda smiled a sad smile, she knew it was just a show, but happy families were not fictional.
It's all Wanda had wanted, yet watching something like this made her acknowledge the fact that she couldn't have it.
She popped open the DvD player, and took out the DvD. She returned it back to her room, isolating it with all the other DvD's back in their righteous place hidden away in the closet.
Wanda remembered she still has yet to finish reorganizing her room, so she continued doing just that. She even played some music, it was just a playlist of upbeat songs to raise her spirits.
She discovered a whole bunch of junk in her room, such as old orange juice boxes under her bed, discarded apple cores behind her nightstand.
Wanda had no idea how she let her room get this messy, she always viewed herself as an organized person.
She claimed a trash bag and levitated all the trash into it, tying the bag up and placing it in the corner of the kitchen, making another mental note to take out the trash soon.
Wanda sighed contently, she felt pleased with herself, for probably the first time in a while.
She realized, there was nothing else for her to do now, for entertainment purposes, that is.
Suddenly, Wanda remembered the suggestion Steve had given her, to write down whatever she had been feeling. She decided, it could be useful.
She opened the drawer in her kitchen, where she kept extra items she didn't think belonged in her bedroom, and pulled out a pen and notepad.
Wanda wondered for a bit what she should begin with, then her palm raised and she controlled the pen's movements, writing down everything she had been thinking.
She let her mind wander for a good 5 minutes, the only sound heard was the scratching of the pen against the paper, and shifting pages.
Once she deemed herself done she dropped the pen and brought the paper up to her eyes to read what she has been thinking.
Wanda frowned, it was merely just scatting, irrelevant thoughts on irrelevant topics. She returned the notepad back into the drawer, and thought, what was she doing wrong?
