"A world created from a dream can soon become a reality as a result of determination."

Howling, screaming, screeching, and everything in between can be heard when they come out. There are twenty-four hours in a day, but only five of those hours are safe.
A world once run by humans has now turned into a cold, barren wasteland overrun by vicious, flesh-eating animals; all because of a few fallen meteors.

Background: Lyi'ardaa (Hardane), as described by Itsuki.

"There was the City of Fire; it was a city that had fire everywhere. For example, the city had fountains of fire instead of water. The fire would never burn out, and it never gave off any smoke; it was pretty magical. The City of Fire was also called the "Rainbow City" because there would be different colors of fire, like, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, etc. The City of Fire was a place where anyone and everyone could belong. The people in this city would wear loose, rainbow colored clothing.
There was also the Ethereal Garden. This city had places, buildings, and things that were made from plants. The people in this city would wear short clothing that was mostly green and white. It looked like a place where faeries would live. The Ethereal Garden held most of the country's plants and animals. The animals looked like animals out of fairytale books. And next to the Ethereal Garden was the Lyi'ardaa jungle. Many animals lived there but it was also the safest jungle on earth. Many people spent time in the jungle with the animals.
The last big city—there are many other cities, but they're smaller and less populated—was the Purple Sea Lake City. This city had a purple lake that the natives would spend a lot of time by; the lake was purple because of the chemical reaction with the algae at the bottom of the lake. The Purple Sea Lake City was the biggest city in Hardane, and many people liked it. It had tall buildings and low buildings that were made from glass and a Hardanese material called Xinta, and it looked like smooth, smooth sandstone. It was the most beautiful city ever; you could always see the stars when it was dark—which was most of the day—and they would reflect onto the lake.
The people of Hardane—or Lyi'ardaa—had dark, pale brown colored skin tones. The Hardanese—or Lyi'ardaa people—had long, dark hair, usually black or a dark brown, that they usually wore in a ponytail or they just wore their hair down. The people of Hardane really took pride in their hair, they would dress their hair up with all kinds of jewelry and they would show it off any chance that they got. There weren't many Hardanese people who had short hair.
And now it's all gone. Well, kind of. Some of the buildings still stand, but all the plants are dead, and the animals of the country have turned into flesh eating monsters. I don't know why, but I haven't found anyone yet. It's so boring and eerie. But I've been able to learn when the animals come out. They come out when the sun starts to set, then they stay out until the sun is high in the sky."
