11:00 a.m., 2021/5/20

I groan and roll over, but I end up falling off the bed...or the massage table I forgot that I was laying on.

"Owie," I say as I rub my back.

"Are you alright?" Song says as he leans over me.

"Ah, you got over here quick."

"I was just about to wake you up before you fell."

"Oh," I say as he helps me up. "Welp, no need."

He chuckles, "Did your 'strong cranium' get hurt from that fall?"

"Nope, my strong cranium is just fine, sir."

"Well, that's good," he says as he knocks on my head. "Woah, it's hollow..."

I gasp as I push him, "You are so rude!"

"I'm sorry, I couldn't resist."

I laugh in disbelief as he smiles at me.

I lightly tap his cheek, "Don't smile at me as if you didn't just insult me."

"It was the perfect opportunity, I'm sorry."

I turn my lips up as I go over to the door of the room, "It was kinda funny..."

He chuckles as he follows me out of the room. I stretch my arms over my head as I yawn.

"I slept like a–" I abruptly stop as I look at the state of the spa and he runs into my back.

"...This place looks like it was ransacked."

"It...didn't look like this yesterday, did it?"

"No," he says, "we would have noticed."

"Did you hear anything last night?"

"I was dead asleep."

"Oh...well, I was too..."

He backs up abruptly, his sudden movement scares me so I quickly follow him.

"W-what are you doing?"

"I'm just checking the other rooms," he says.

"Without a bat?"

"Oh, right," he says as he goes into the room we were in.

He grabs his bat then he goes back over to the other rooms, "Stay in the room."

"If something's there, two people against it is better than one."

"You don't have a weapon."

"I'll stay behind you, but I'm not staying in the room," I say as he holds onto one of the handles.

"Fine."

He slowly opens the door to one of the massage rooms, and we find nothing in there and nothing out of place. We both let out a breath then he goes to the next door, nothing is in there either. We get to the last door, but...it's ajar.

"I could have left it open yest–"

He quietly shushes me as he holds his finger to his lips. In the silence, a crinkling noise, like a chip bag, comes from the room.

I grab his hand then pull him towards me, he leans down so that I can whisper into his ear, "Why don't you just close the door?"

"The more killer animals we get rid of the better."

"I don't think it can open the door, that's why all the other rooms weren't ransacked. I left this door ajar yesterday. Just close the door, then we'll leave."
