"Already?" I whine as I lean back on his shoulder. "Can't we wait till later? If we...set the apartment on fire later, it will scare the animals away be-because they don't like fire. So, it'll be comp-completely fine."

"It's because of the toxic air that I want to leave quickly. We may have our masks on, but a lot of toxic air is coming in through the window."

I let out a breath, "Okay, okay. I'll go get everything ready."

"You're very touchy."

"It's my l-love language. I like to be close to my friends and the ones I love."

He furrows his eyebrows as he looks into my eyes and tilts his head. He seems as though he's trying to see into me. And he also seems as though he's pulling for something, expecting me to say something; to...expand on what I just said? He sighs and shakes his head as he stands up.

"What, you don't like love languages?"

"I don't like anything with 'love' in it. Get up. Go get ready."

I pout, "Okay."

I stand up and stretch then I sigh as I go over to the corkboard above my dresser. I look over the pictures on the corkboard then I look at the the pictures hanging around the wall that are connected to fairy lights.

"I have so...little pictures."

"This seems like a lot to me," he says as he goes through the rest of my drawers. "They go all around the room."

"It seemed like a lot...before because I had a chance to take more. But now, since there are no more chances, it seems like I only have a small amount of pictures."

He comes over to the corkboard, "Oh."

He looks over the pictures then he takes one of the pictures off and looks at it; it's a picture of when my friends and I were petting a hoard of deer in Nara, Japan.

"That's me and my friends in Nara, Japan after they all raised money for me and my grandparents to go. I was supposed to go with my class, but the school didn't feel "comfortable" with taking me because of my disability."

"I went to Nara, Japan."

"I know. Well, I know you were in Japan. You had a concert in Japan, and my friends and I went."

"Mmn. Did you like the concert?"

"Yes, I did! Oh my gosh, it was s-so nice! I liked that the theme was glowing things. There were glow balloons, glow clothes, glow s-sticks, glow jewelry, glow instruments; it was so, s-so, so cool! It was so nice when you let out the glow balloons, it looked so magical!"

"It was nice." He says quietly as he looks at the picture, "I'm glad you liked it."

There's just something about the way he said that... Why did he say it like that? He sounded like he was talking from his heart.

I shake the thoughts away as I look away from him.

Whatever. Whatever. He could just be reminiscing.

I go over to my bed, "I have pictures of the concert over my bed."

I jump onto my bed then I grab the picture. I jump off of the bed and he catches me as I stumble.

"Look," I say as I show him the picture. "They look so magical, right? It looks like we're in a completely different dimension. I felt like I was in a completely different dimension too. All of my senses were so overwhelmed, and it felt so satisfying and nice and wonderful, and I could keep going on how...how great it felt!"
