"So the youngest are called the maknae?" Chenle asks.
"Yeah."
"So we're the maknaes?"
"Yup. Me and you."
"I'm glad it's you." Chenle smiles at Jisung and takes his hand.
"Ooh, are you flirting with me?" Jisung smiles back at Chenle.
"Yeah, it's it working?"
"I already like you," Jisung rolls his eyes.
"Ok, but is my flirting good?"
"Oh, definitely."
Chenle and Jisung are waiting for their hyungs in the SM music room. Since they're in the same class, they walked together after class and found the room empty.
"Do we even have practice in here today?" Jisung asks.
"I think so, let me check," Chenle replies and checks his phone. "Oh oops, we're supposed to be in the dance room. Wanna race?"
"Yeah, let's go!"
Jisung takes off with Chenle right behind them, both boys laughing loudly.
"Chenle! Jisungie! Where were you?" Mark asks.
As soon as the two step into the room, Mark is right there with Taeyong behind him, looking to make sure neither of them are hurt.
"We thought we had vocal practice today," Chenle replies.
"Sorry, hyung," Jisung adds, almost leaning away from the older.
"It's ok, baby. Come here."
"You're not mad?" Jisung asks, but doesn't move closer like Mark wanted.
"I'm not mad, just concerned. Can I give you a hug?" Mark holds out a hand to the younger.
"Promise you're not mad?"
"Promise."
Jisung takes Mark's outstretched hand and is pulled into a tight hug.
"So, dance practice?"
Jisung is released by Mark and walks with him, Chenle, and Taeyong to the side of the room.
"Yeah."
The next few hours are spent on improving skills and even sorting the boys into smaller groups.
Jisung enjoys the dance practice, but he likes hanging out with Chenle anymore.
"Are you tired?" Chenle asks as Jisung lays his head on the older's shoulder.
"A little. I haven't danced that long in a while."
"You did really well, though. You're an amazing dancer."
"Thanks. I used to dance whenever my father wasn't home."
