"Which soulmate would you want to get closer to and why?"
"Why are we even doing this quiz?"
"For fun, I think."
"It doesn't matter, answer the question please."
Yuta looks at Mark with a raised eyebrow as Mark was the one that asked the question and Yuta just wants to know who decided this was a good idea in the first place.
Xiaojun was already sitting in the room with Lucas when the other two walked in and they agreed to play because what else did they have going on.
Yuta looks at Mark and considers his answer as he turns to look at Xiaojun and Lucas as well.
"I guess I wouldn't mind getting closer to Xiaojun."
"Me?" Xiaojun replies and tilts his head.
"Yeah, you. I'm not sure we've ever actually talked as just us two and you seem cool."
"Wow, really?" Mark asks. "You two have never been on your own together?"
"Well, if you two left, then Yuta and I could sit here and talk."
"What?" Lucas looks up from his phone.
Mark rolls his eyes and moves to pull Lucas to stand.
"I need your help finding something, honey. Let's go."
Lucas and Mark leave, waving goodbye to Xiaojun and Yuta.
"So?" Yuta starts.
"So? So what?" Xiaojun replies. "What do you want to know?"
"I don't know," Yuta sighs. "Where are you from? What's your favorite color? Why are you so cute? Why did you want to become an idol?"
"Wait, repeat that."
"Why did you want to become an idol?"
"No, before that."
"What's your favorite color?"
"No! The one after that!" Xiaojun laughs.
"Why are you so cute?" Yuta repeats quietly.
"You think I'm cute?"
"Well, yeah. I know we're not technically soulmates, but I think we have a bond that connects us."
"You do?"
"Of course I do. Now I'll answer the questions and then you can answer them, ok?"
"Ok."
Yuta and Xiaojun spend the next hour or so getting to know each other and bonding over similar experiences that they've had with their soulmates.
"Have I mentioned that I love your smile?" Yuta asks as Xiaojun laughs loudly.
"What?" Xiaojun replies and reaches up to his mouth. "You're so much prettier, your smile just lights up my day."
"Sheesh." Yuta fans his face with his hand. "Whoever taught you how to flirt needs a raise."
