"Hey Mark?"
"Yeah, Tae?"
"I have to go meet my lawyer, and I'd like you to stay here if that's ok."
"Why?"
"Well, I need to talk to him about your parents and everything that has happened and I just don't think that you need to go through that again."
"Ok. Are Johnny and Jae here?"
"I think so. Do you want me to get them before I leave?"
"Yes, please."
"Alright, darling. I'll be right back."
Taeyong leaves Mark on his bed with his laptop and exits the room to go to Johnny's. He walks in to see Jaehyun laying in Johnny's arms, both looking at Johnny's phone as he scrolls.
"Hi honey," Johnny coos as he sees Taeyong. "What's up?"
"I'm going to see my lawyer with Taeil hyung."
"Ok. Did you want us to come?"
"Oh no, we'll be ok. I was wondering if you'd go sit with Mark or if I could bring Mark here?"
"Can you bring him in here?" Jaehyun asks and takes Taeyong's hand. "I'm too tired to get up."
"Yeah, I'll go get him."
Taeyong receives a kiss on the hand from both boys before he's released. He smiles at them before leaving.
"Minhyungie," Taeyong sings and gently brushes Mark's hair back. "Let me just tell you that you are so cute and that Johnny and Jaehyun are in Johnny's room if you still want to go."
"Ok. Carry me?" Mark reaches his arms up towards Taeyong.
"Sure."
Taeyong takes Mark into his arms and carries him to Johnny and Jaehyun.
"Aw, my baby," Johnny coos and accepts Mark into the space between him and Jaehyun. "You're gonna stay with us while Tae leaves?"
"Yeah."
Taeyong leaves as he sees Mark start to fall asleep. He meets Taeil by the door and takes his hand on the way to the car.
"Is Mark ok?" Taeil asks.
"He's fine for now. I left him with Johnny and Jaehyun."
"That's good. Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I just want to be able to make music with my soulmates and be happy."
"You are literally so cute."
Taeyong doesn't reply, instead just smiling softly to himself.
Almost 30 minutes later, the two pull up to Taeyong's lawyer's office.
"Hey honey? We're here." Taeil squeezes Taeyong's hand and leans over to kiss his cheek.
"Ok."
Taeil gets out of the car first before going to Taeyong's side. He opens Taeyong's door and holds out his hand for the younger boy to help him out.
They enter the building and make it to Taeyong's appointment with the lawyer. They're in the meeting for almost two hours, going over the contracts and discussing what can be done.
Taeyong comes out tear stained, but he feels better. He's dreading the meeting that he'll have to go to next week, but for right now, he wants to see the rest of his soulmates and tell them that there is something that can be done.
Taeil leads the way back to the car and holds Taeyong's hand as he drives them home. He listens to Taeyong talk, letting his soulmate just vocalize all of his thoughts.
"Thank you for coming with me," Taeyong says and squeezes Taeil's hand.
"You're welcome," Taeil replies. "I'm glad we're a step closer to our happy ending."
"Your happy ending is with us?" Taeyong asks as they pull into the driveway.
"Well yeah. I love you."
"I love you, too."
Taeil kisses the back of Taeyong's hand before releasing him to get out. He walks around to open the door for Taeyong and walks with him into the house.
"I know you want to go find Mark, it's alright. I don't mind."
"Thank you." Taeyong pecks Taeil on the cheek before going up the stairs.
Taeil is immediately grabbed by Donghyuck and they go to the couch.
Taeyong makes it upstairs and finds Mark where he left him, now sleeping between Jaehyun and Johnny.
Mark seems to sense Taeyong in his sleep, shifting a bit before waking up and making eye contact with Taeyong right away.
"Tae?" Mark whispers.
"Yeah, it's me. Wanna talk now or sleep some more?"
"I'd rather sleep."
"Yeah, c'mon Tae," Johnny speaks up. "We can make room for you."
"Ok."
Taeyong ends up between Mark and Johnny. He wraps his arms around Mark with Jaehyun as Johnny puts his arm over them.
