-2 Years Later-

The material for the psychology final was rigorous. I let out a heavy sigh when Lex popped into the office. "Hey, how's the final stuff going?"

I let out a heavy sigh and looked at her with a slight smile. "Well, I want to be done with it already! It is so annoying."

"You got it! Kylie, you've been studying the material. Plus, don't forget you are Professor Benson's favorite and best student!"

I scoffed and continued to write notes. "Your boy is calling you!" She exclaims. "Finally, an excuse to stop studying," I comment before greeting him.

"Baby!"

"Hey baby, are you studying right now?"

"Yes, I am," my voice trails off. "I was just about to go on a break. What's up?"

"You need to go to the airport in the next hour."

"The airport? For what?"

He quietly laughs. "Kylie, please, don't ask me questions. Someone is going to pick you up and take you to the airport! You and Lex have to be ready!"

"Okay Bells, we will," I groan, still smiling.

"I love you. I'll see you later."

"I love you," I say before hanging up the phone. "Lexie!"

She comes running into the office. "What's up?"

"Pack up, we're leaving somewhere!" I slam the notebook shut and stack it up neatly on the white desktop.

"Where are we going?" Lexie leans into the door frame, crossing her arms.

I look up from the monitor, "I have no idea, but I hope we're going to Vegas."

She lets out a giggle. "Girl, we need to go! Hopefully, after we graduate!"

"I agree, we desperately need to go."

The silence lingered for a bit. I looked at the reflection on the monitor. "Well, I'm going to go pack!" Lexie sings and I can hear her gentle footsteps fade to her room.

I looked back at myself on the screen, letting out a heavy sigh. Belli, always up to something.

The private jet landed in San Francisco. Lexie begins singing the Full House theme song. "Well, it's not Vegas, but San Fran will do!" She excitedly takes a swig of the complimentary champagne bottle.

"Your limo is out front waiting to take you all to the hotel," Farrah, the flight attendant, says with a grin.

Lex and I exit the plane to see the limo and the driver standing next to the door. "Good evening girls, welcome to San Fran!" His voice is full of excitement. He helps us down the steps and into the car. "Mr. Bellinger has arranged that I take you to the stadium."

"Stadium?" I question.

His smile grows slowly, "Yes, the stadium. Your hotel rooms are ready and checked in. I just need to drop your bags off with the bell desk."

"Mr. Bellinger never stated what his plans are for us today."

The limo driver laughs. "Don't worry, Miss Vega, he did tell me everything. He also advised me not to let you know why you're here."

"Well then. Thank you, sir."

The drive to the stadium seemed quick, we were already parked in front of this side entrance. "Hey, there's Mrs. Bellinger!" Lexie points out. I quickly turned to see her on her phone waiting and then noticing the limo.

Mr. Limo Driver quickly opens the door for us, handing us Dodger caps. "Again, don't ask what it is for!" He laughs. "Thank you for choosing Golden Limousine."

"Thank you!" I answer with a smile and then walking up to where Jen was standing.

"Kylie!" She greets with a cheek-to-cheek smile. "I'm so excited you're here! How was the flight for you all?"

"It was really good! Thank you!"

"Hi Lexie," Jen greets, hugging her. "Okay, let's go inside."

I was confused. Maybe Cody was inside already seated with his dad. I don't know. We walked into a bustling stadium and the game has not started yet. "Cody should be on his way over here," Jen comments as we walk to our section close to first base.

Ashli, Cole, and Clay are seated in a row to themselves. "Ashli!!" I squeal, giving her a big embrace. "I've missed you, blondie, how are you?"

"Kylie, it's been forever! I've been good! You killed it your last season at UCLA! How have you been?"

"Good, I finish everything at the end of the first week of May so almost!"

"That's good, I'm so happy for you," She then directs her attention to Lex. "Lexie?" She greets. "You killed it too girl. How have you been?"

Lexie and Ashli do quick catchup while I greet Cole and Clay. "Now the starting lineup for the Los Angeles Dodgers."

I looked at my phone, hoping to see a text from Cody. "Batting eighth, Number thirty-five, Cody Bellinger!"

My jaw dropped and everything around me fell in slow motion. I'm at Cody's major league debut. Before I knew it, tears were streaming down my face. I looked back at Lexie and Ashli, their phones pointed to me. "Lexie you knew?!"

She nodded. "I knew."

"Oh my God!" I cried. He noticed me as he walked back to the dugout. He tugged on his cap three times. I knew that was his way of saying I love you. I flashed the peace sign at him, which was my way of saying I loved him back.

*Flashback*

It was a fresh Arizona night—surprisingly. I laid out a blanket for us on the roof. "Ky," Cody says, I turn to look at him. "What is it Bells?"

He let out a sigh and looked back at the storm clouds above us. "I'm going to make it to the Majors."

I laughed, "Of course, you are! It's been super apparent since the first day you started playing baseball! You're going to get there... with the Dodgers. I believe it!"

I looked at him in the dugout, laughing with the guys that would come up to greet him. I smiled, remembering sophomore year on that one summer evening, we went on the roof talking about our future. He finally made it.
