"So it wasn't the drugs?"
"Oh no, it definitely was the drugs." Donnie tells Louis.
I roll my eyes. "Where are we again?" I ask them. Louis made me lie down and get more sleep after my episode. An episode that Donnie blames on the drugs he gave me to help with the pain. They didn't, but he didn't need to know that.
Donnie shushes me. "Julian please, the adults are talking."
Louis sighs, shoving Donnie back. "We're at Athena's father's house. Did you not sleep like I asked you?" He questions.
"Louis, I never listen to you. When will you realize that?"
Donnie goes to the other side of the bed, notebook in hand. "Now tell me, who is the exact same as Athena?" He asks me.
"What?"
"Answer the question you idiot!" Donnie snaps. Both Louis and Kenny sigh.
"Athena."
Donnie pauses. He frowns, scribbling in his notebook. "Athena is the same person as Athena. Makes sense. I definitely say you're having a bad reaction to the drugs I gave you."
"What if it isn't the drugs? What if something is really weird with Julian's brain?" Kenny asks.
I look at Kenny, pointing at him. "Yes thank you, that's what's wrong."
"Everyone shush." Louis snaps. "Julian, you just had a bad dream, there's nothing wrong with that. The drugs and waking up in a new environment probably just freaked you out."
"How do you know that's what happened." I ask him, narrowing my eyes.
"I practically raised you. I know how well you do in new environments." Louis tells me deadpan.
"Like 9/10?" I grin.
Louis scoffs. "More like 2/10. Get more sleep Julian." Louis says, smacking my forehead.
"How is Mr. Kleinhaus doing?" Richard asks, entering the room cautiously.
"He's doing better." Louis says. "Just alot things happened at once, it probably freaked him out."
"And it's just Julian." I add.
Richard nods. "Well, I'm ready to talk whenever you're feeling better and thank you."
I look eagerly at Louis who shakes his head. "No, sleep first."
I groan. "I'm not a child, you can't make me take a nap." I give him a look.
"Sometimes I wonder." Louis mumbles. He follows Donnie and Kenny out of the room. He turns to look at me before he exits. "Now sleep. You almost died today, you need rest." He closes the door behind him.
I sigh. Was this all just a bad dream and bad reaction to drugs.
Also who let Donnie give me drugs? I want to speak with him.
It can't be a coincidence, Athena being the same person in my dreams, even before I met her. Something weird is definitely going on.
I swing my legs over the bed, Grabbing my blood stained shirt. The door opens slightly. "Ah sorry! Louis told me you were sleeping." Athena gasps.
I pull the short over my head. "It's fine." I mumble. I grab Louis's jacket to cover up my bloody shirt. "Did you need something?" I ask her.
"I needed something from the closet, but it can wait." She turns to leave, a small blush forming on her cheeks.
