"Julian?" A familiar voice yells. "Julian!" The voice calls again. I jerk my head up, looking for the source.
"Who's there?" I yell.
"Julian help me! Please!"
I blink, feeling frantic. "I can't see you! Who are you?"
"Julian!" The voice screams. The voice was definitely male. I was able to determine that. I look around the dark room. The voice sounded like it was coming from all directions.
Loud ear piercing screams filled the room. I drop to my knees covering my ears. "Stop!" I yell.
"July." A voice says through the screaming. I squeeze my eyes shut, refusing to look up. "Julian, look at me." The screaming stops. The voice was sadly familiar.
"Louis?" I question, looking up. I gasp when I look at him. His wrists were slit open and blood was dripping on the floor. Dark bruises covered his face and arms.
"Julian why didn't you save me?" He snap suddenly. "I called for you. Why didn't you help me?"
I look up at him, tears flooding down my face. "I-I'm sorry! I wanted to save you but I couldn't!"
"I knew you were worthless, We should've left you to starve in that alley."
"What? Louis no, I'm sorry!"
Louis crouches to me level. "Sorry doesn't cut it. The time I needed you the most, you weren't there." I stiffen as a cold blade touches my arm. "Do you know how much I suffered while waiting for you to save me?"
"Louis please.."
Louis grip my shoulder, moving the knife over to my stomach. "You deserve to suffer as much as I did. Suffer knowing no one is coming to save you."
"Louis no!" I yell as the blade went through my stomach.
I gasp, pain shouting through my right shoulder. "I know it hurts dear." My mother says sympathetically.
I glance down at the chair I was tied to. "What...what did you do to me?" I ask feeling groggy.
My mother moves so she was standing in front of me. "Your father just gave you something to knock you out." She smiles. "It's better than having to struggle with the hostage when you drag them to the car." She tells me.
I glance around the room we were in. It seemed to be a bedroom. But were we in a apartment or house? "Where are we?" I ask.
My mother shakes her head. "Tsk tsk Julian. You don't need to know that. All you need to know is that we're not going to hurt you and once you're feeling better about all this, we'll untie you." She ruffles my hair in a similar fashion Louis did and it turned my stomach.
I jerk my head back from her touch. "You killed Louis..." I mutter.
My mom crouches, her face holding a fake sadness. "I know honey. I'm sorry but it had to be done, you'll realize that soon enough." She stands up, turning to leave.
"You killed him in cold blood, you snake!" I snap.
My mother freezes, slowly turning back to me. "Who do you think you're talking to?"
"He was my family, not you and you killed him! I'll make you suffer just like he did when you tortured. I swear to goodness you'll regret the day you made me a enemy."
She glares at me. "If that's how you feel. I'll just get your father in here and he'll give you something stronger." She leaves the room.
I struggle against the handcuffs chaining me go the chair. I need to get out of here. Hopefully Kenny and the others are looking for me.
I tense up. I told them not to look for me. No matter what. I squeeze my eyes shut, praying that they didn't listen to me. That they were searching for me.
"You having trouble Julian?" I open my eyes to see my father had entered the room. I don't reply. "We can fix that." He mutters.
"What are you going to do?" I ask him. I glance at my mother who was standing in the doorway. "You can't keep me here forever."
My mother smiles softly at me and I almost break. Nothing about her really changed. This only difference is how she treats me, she always had this crazy side but she never used it or even showed it to me. "We're not going to. We want you helping us but you're not ready yet."
"Help you with what?" I ask, glancing between the two. My dad was crouched next to the bed, doing something I couldn't quite see.
"We want control, a control that we thought Hollister could help us with but then he snitched on us. So we killed him." My mom says.
"Is this the same control you tortured and killed Louis for?" I ask.
She pauses, spacing off to think. "Not really, we wanted to know about you. But he remained loyal, never told us a thing even when we gave him the hallucinogenic drugs."
"Hallucinogenic drugs?"
She nods, humming. "Very painful way to die but he stayed silence. Other than the screaming." She tilts her head smiling.
I struggle against the hands cuffs. "I'll kill you for what you did. There's no place you will be able to hide from me."
My father stands up, finally finished with what he was doing. He grins and my blood runs cold. "That's cute. But I know you Julian, you won't be able to lay a finger on us."
I narrow my eyes. "I don't think you heard me. You left, you left me on my own when I was only eight years old." My mother opens her mouth to reply but I cut her off. "Whatever excuse you have, I don't want to hear it. Louis found me and took care of me when you couldn't be bothered to."
I pause, sighing deeply. "He meant everything to me and you took him away. Do you really think I would hesitate to pull the trigger on you?" My parents exchange a look but I couldn't tell if it was out of fear or amusement. "But after what you told me, you'd be lucky if I just shot you and left it at that."
"Josef?" My mother says turning to my father.
He nods, grabbing my arm. "Don't worry, this'll barely hurt." He tells me, holding a needle to my arm.
I don't bother fighting him. I just bite my lip as a burning pain courses through my arm. "We'll see you in the morning son." My dad says as everything slowly fades to black.
