Chapter 7: Story of my Life

Elton's POV

Our first stop on this trip is a closed bowling alley. We sit down and order some food so we don't seem suspicious. When it's time for the bowling alley to close, I say that I have to use the bathroom and the others leave. I hide in a stall on the toilet seat and wait for the staff to leave. Someone comes in to check the bathroom and I hold my breath until they leave. Once I think the coast is clear, I sneak out of the bathroom. All of the lights are off and no one is around. I text the others quickly and head to the window to let them in. Colby, Corey and Sam climb in and close the window behind them. We explore the bowling alley quickly then Sam sits down and turns on the TV. Colby looks around then puts his around Sam. Sam notices and smiles at Colby.

I raise my eyebrows at Corey and whisper "What's that about?"

Corey shrugs and whispers back, "They've always been close."

I think about that and yeah, he's right but something seems different between them. I end up deciding that it's a topic for later and focus on having fun with my friends. We mess around a bit, bowling and dancing. At one point, we hear the radio turn on randomly and the others freak out a bit before calming down enough to keep bowling. Nothing else really happens so I turn off the camera and so do Sam and Colby. We hang out for a bit then decide to go back to the hotel. We all climb into the car, exhausted. We get back to the hotel and Sam and Colby head to their room, standing very close together.

Sam's POV
I want to sleep next to Colby but I don't how to ask. I was quiet for a bit and then snaped back to reality when Colby tapped on my shoulder.

"You alright man?"

The question falls from my lips before I can stop it. "Can I sleep in your bed?"

"Of course," he says, moving over to make room for me.

I crawl into bed next to him and he wraps an arm around me, pulling me close to him. I snuggle up to him and fall asleep.
