Final chapter of this book. Wow, it's been a wild ride. Hope you enjoyed!

Colby's POV

Sam and I are heading home this weekend to see our families since we haven't seen them in a while. Our plane lands in Kansas and we wait to deplane. Our turn finally comes and we head to baggage claim. Our parents are waiting there for us. We get our bags and leave with our parents. I place my bag in my mom's truck then climb into her car. My mom drives me to our house, explaining on the way that my dad is still on a business trip.

Yeah, a business trip. Right. Something tells me that the "business" trip will be permanent.

We arrive at my house and my brother comes out to greet me. He grabs my bag from the trunk and starts to bring it inside for me.

"You don't have to do that Gage," I say.

"No worries bro. I got it," he says.

I follow him inside and head to my room, saying that I'm tired. In reality, I need time to think. Sam is probably telling his family right now. You see, we said that we are going to tell our families about us this trip. It's seems easy for him, his parents are supportive and he's pretty sure that they'll accept him. Me, I'm not so sure. There are a thousand things that could happen. Suddenly, I'm glad my dad's not here. Not that he'd hurt me or anything but it's one less person to tell. My phone vibrates, interrupting my thoughts. It's Sam texting me.

S: I told them.

C: how did it go?

S: they took it really well, hugged me and told me they loved me.

C: did you tell them about us?

S: yeah, is that okay?

C: yeah, that's fine.

S: How did it go for you?

Shit, I wish he didn't ask.

C: umm..

S: you didn't tell them, did you?

C: No, I'm scared. Sorry...

S: don't be. Do you want me to come over?

C: yes

S: coming now

I set my phone down and wait for him to come. My mom calls me from downstairs ten minutes later. I head downstairs to see Sam sitting in the living room with my mom.

"Where's Gage?" I ask, sitting down.

"Out with friends," my mom responds. "Sam said you wanted to talk," she adds.

"Umm, well," I start.

Sam squeezes my hand and I grip his hand for support.

"Cole, what is it?"

"I'm-m gay," I stutter out, looking down.

My mom stands down and pulls me into her arms.

"Baby, I'm so proud of you and I love you," she says.

"There's something else," I mutter.

"What is it?" she asks.

"Sam and I are dating," I say.

"Wait, really? Oh my goodness. This is wonderful," she says.

"You're serious?" I ask.

"Yes of course sweetie. I'm so happy for you," she says.

I fall into her arms and hug her tightly. Sam joins the hug and we stay like that for a minute. My mom gets up to make dinner for us and I turn to Sam.

"Thank you hun. I couldn't have done that without your support," I say, pulling him into my arms.

"I'm always here for you. No matter what," he says, kissing me lightly.

"Are you dating?"

We both turn around to see Gage standing in the doorway, smiling at us.

"Yes," I say.

"Finally!" he exclaims, running to us. He hugs both of us.

I pull away confused. "What?"

"I've been waiting for you two to get together. You've been so obvious," he says.

"That's what Allison and Ben said too," Sam says.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yeah, apparently everyone knew but us," Sam says, laughing.

"Apparently so," I say, laughing too.

We sit down to dinner with my mom and Gage. We talk and make plans to have a family dinner tomorrow with both of our families tomorrow. Sam ends up spending the night at my house. We talk and decide to focus on spending time with our families and take a break from filming for a bit.
