I like this. Usually I'd prefer reading a book or play video games but this is also nice. I have my hands resting on my stomach as I stare at the star-sparkling sky.
"So, why did you move here?" I ask him
He shrugs, "Mom and dad kinda lived away from each other due to dad having to work here. And it was only a few weeks ago that he got a house for us so we could all be together again"
Wow, that's real nice for them.
We talked awhile about each other, about old friends, funny stories, et cetera. We laughed at embarrassing stories of each other until I heard a low growl.
"Sorry," he chuckles, embarrassed, "I guess I'm a bit hungry"
I smile at him "No worries, I came prepared!"
I bought a couple of waffle sandwiches earlier before coming to the park. We both sat up and as I give him one of the two, his face immediately lights up.
"Oh my god, I love waffles!"
He was practically drooling on it before eventaking a bite. I couldn't help but laugh. Its true though, waffles are deliciousand wonderful works of god.
