Chapter 5: Zane & PIXAL's Date

That Morning...

The Nindroid couple walked into the lobby of the Borg Tower. They were greeted by some assistants that worked there.

"Morning, PIXAL! Morning, Zane."

"The Titanium Ninja and Samurai X! Welcome!"

"Good morning, PIXAL and Zane."

The nindroids waved back and said, "Good morning!"

PIXAL clicked a button to call for the elevator. Once it arrived, the couple entered the lift and Zane clicked the button for the top floor. The door of the elevator closed and they started rising up. Knowing it would take a few minutes to reach the top, PIXAL said, "Thank you for coming, Zane." She thanked out of the blue. Zane looked at her with a smile and she continued, "I appreciate that you wanted to come to help me and my father with this new mechanism he was working on."

Zane shrugged, "I had nothing planned for today so I decided to help you with this new machinery." He paused and looked at her with a confused stare, "What machine are we building today?"

PIXAL looked at him, "It's a new Samurai X mech. My father wanted to help build me a new one with more gadgets. I told him that I was fine with my current but he insisted that he helped to make a new one." She giggled, "So I agreed eventually."

"How long will it take to create this suit?" Zane asked.

PIXAL replied, "I did some calculating beforehand and I'm pretty sure it'll take us, minimum, a whole day. So if we don't get distracted, we'll be done with it around 6 p.m." She said.

Zane nodded. The elevator dinged and opened. They reached the top floor of Borg Tower and they walked out to be greeted by Cyrus Borg, "PIXAL! So good to see you again. Zane! I didn't know you were coming," Zane nodded at that, "I'm guessing you're both here to finish the Samurai X suit?" He asked.

PIXAL nodded, "Yes, Father. And Zane has volunteered to help me finish it."

Zane walked up to the both of them, "I'll do anything I can to help, Mr. Borg-" He got cut off.

"Please, just call me Cyrus. No need for any formalities." He shrugged him off.

Zane nodded, "So," He looked around, "Where is the suit?"

Cyrus used his wheelchair and led them to a room, "Come here. I kept the Samurai X suit in here just in case. Wouldn't want this powerful weapon to fall into the wrong hands." He chuckled, "Well, good luck on finishing the suit, you two! I'll see you later." He left the room and shut the door as the nindroid couple waved at him.

Once the door was closed, Zane looked at PIXAL and asked, "Where are the materials?"

PIXAL waved her hand, "Over here. Just like my father, I also kept them hidden away. Just in case someone broke in here." She led him to a vault. She typed in the password at nearly light speed, and it glowed green. The door unlocked and it led to a small storage room. PIXAL picked up a box and said, "Pick up the box labeled '2'. We only need to of these boxes for now."

Zane nodded in understanding. Once he lifted it off the ground though, he was unprepared for the weight and almost dropped it. But he used his ninja reflexes to catch himself from falling just in time, "Woah! Could've warned me that these boxes were like 100 pounds." He looked at the box in curiosity, "What did you store in them?"

"It's mostly weapons and building materials. There are also some tools but not that many since we are nindroids. We were built with weapons and tools inside of us, so we don't usually need many tools to build something." PIXAL answered.
