Chapter 10
"It's a prank, lol!"
Buong gabi iyong sumagi sa isipan ko. It was like an echo, again and again, ringing into my ears like fuck. But still not enough for me to lose sanity, the remnants of last night turned into a nightmare.
I knew it from the moment I entered this room. I know she's up for the revenge she's talking about. I should not let Kaori do whatever she wants.
I opened my sleepy eyes and the blue sea outside the window welcomed my sight.
I cannot move because of a body embracing me like a pillow. Tumunganga nalang ako sa kawalan. I groaned when I remembered the most embarrassing moment in my life.
When she said it was a prank, that she was just playing with me, sumabog ako ng sobra. I kept talking like an old man, completely losing my control. But instead of fearing me, this little girl who is the reason of my frustrations just laugh and smiled like I'm the biggest joke ever made.
I just kept spouting words about how much annoying she is, how her seductions won't work on me and how big my respect on her parents and especially on her.
But she just sweetly smiled like she's overjoyed. When she yawned, I realized she's tired.
The only effective way to make her tired is my nonstop loud talking.
But I guess it's opposite with me, because she's keeping me awake. She's the reason behind my sleepless nights.
"Hey, wake up!
She mumbled something and pouted. I pushed her hands away but she's hugging me like a bear.
"Y-yuki," aniya sa tulog na boses.
Her eyes slowly opened. My breathing hitched when the sun rays gave light to her bare face. Without makeup, she look like a ghost. Putlang-putla at halatang may iniindang sakit.
Slowly, I cupped her face. She gently smiled as a response.
Some say's she look like an angel. Innocent and pure. Nah, she's a devil pretending to be an angel.
"Morning, girlfriend."
We finished a crazy breakfast, with Kaori destroying our budget.
"So now what, what should we do first?"
Tiningnan niya ako mula ulo hanggang paa.
"Do you lift?"
"What?"
She looked like she's thinking. Kaedad ata namin. Their looking at our direction. Kinilabutan ako nang humarap ako kay Kaori. Mukha siyang may kakatayin na tao.
"How about you change your clothes first?"
I'm wearing a summer outfit. Isang puting sando at hawaiian short. Kaori's wearing a white dress and a summer hat.
"Change your clothes first," naiirita niyang utos sa akin.
They all looked like their cheering for something.
