"Allons-y!"
The Doctor was wearing his usual suit and trench coat, but also was dressed with a pink, floral necklace, black sunglasses and straw hat. In other words, he looked absolutely ridiculous.
"Doctor, where did you leave the coconuts?!"
That was me, with my loose shirt and shorts. What can I say? We were at the beach a few minutes ago before The Doctor told me we were going somewhere. To where? I do not know. He never seems to tell me anymore. "We must of left them?" He called over as I rolled my eyes, walking over to the door.
"Where should we be?" I asked him as he simply grinned at me and opened the door wide. "Ah! No! Sorry!" I heard as I walked outside after him. It was bloody cold. Snow was inches on the ground, there were snow-topped-mountains in the distance and to top it all off... It was snowing.
But The Doctor was focused on something else- someone else. In the short distance was an Ood. I'd seen them before with their squid face and translation sphere. But this Ood, I knew very well. For this Ood was Ood Sigma. "There you are! So, where were we?" The Doctor stuffed his hands into his pocket and smiled at the Ood.
"I was summoned, wasn't I?" He said simply as I sighed. Of course he didn't let slip that Ood Sigma had called. "An Ood, in the snow, calling to me. Well, I didn't exactly come straight here. Had a bit of fun, y'know. Travelled around. Did this and that. Got into trouble, you know me. It was brilliant. I saw the Phosphorous Carousel of the Great Magellan Gestadt." The Doctor was rambling now, and I was getting colder and colder by the seconds. Especially with the wind picking up a bit and whipping the snow onto my bare legs.
"-Saved a planet from the Red Carnivorous Maw. Named a galaxy Alison. Got married- That was a mistake." I snorted at the last one. "Good Queen Bess, and let me tell you, her nickname is no longer..." He coughed as I whacked his arm. "Nobody needs to hear that." I scolded him as he cleared his throat.
"Anyway... What d'you want?"
"You should not have delayed." Ood Sigma said, tilting his head to the left slightly. "Last time I was here you said my song would be ending soon. And I'm in no hurry for that." The Doctor said slowly, searching for my hand and clutching it. The Doctor had not heard of a second prophecy, one about me. But I'm not about to tell him that.
"You will both come with me." Ood Sigma says as The Doctor uses his free hand to dig into his pocket. "Hold on, better lock the TARDIS." He says before taking out a key and pressing a button on it, the TARDIS making a car locking noise and flashing twice. I shook my head in amusement.
"See? Like a car." He grinned excitedly at the Ood. "I locked it like a car." The Doctor was trying to amuse the Ood by the looks of it, which simply stared at him. "Like... It's funny. No? Little bit?" He coughed slightly as I chuckled at him. "Blimey, try to make an Ood laugh." He scoffs as I push him forward after Ood Sigma, who was already walking ahead. "Come on, let's get going before we're left behind."
Trudging through the cold snow, The Doctor and I followed Ood Sigma. The Doctor took his silly hat off his head and ran a hand through his hair. I, however, walked to the Ood happily. "So how old are you now, Ood Sigma?" I asked before being rudely interrupted by The Doctor. "Ah!" I heard him exclaim, looking ahead.
There was a magnificent palace of ice and stone, with bridges high and towers scattered around. It glistened fantastically in the sunlight. "Magnificent!" The Doctor grinned at it before looking to me. "Splendid, isn't it?" He shoved into me lightly. "Oh yes." I sigh, the city giving me an unusual sense of calm.
"You've achieved all of this in how long?" The Doctor asks Ood Sigma, making the Ood's sphere flash. "One hundred years." He said as I frowned slightly and look to The Doctor. "That quick?" I quietly ask as The Doctor shared my look. "We have a problem, then." He says. "This is much too fast."
