Int. Vinvocci ship Flight Deck, SPACE"No sign of any missiles... No sign of... Anything."
Addams looked out a window, staring down at Earth. The dead Vinvocci ship would sway, an occasional creak being all that was heard. "You've wrecked the place!" Addams scolded, folding her arms together angrily. "The engines are burnt out. Just auxiliary lights. Everything else is kaput. We can't move. We're stuck in orbit." Rossiter added, sharing the same amount of irritation.
The Doctor simply stood there, taking it all in. He didn't move, nor did he speak. "Thanks to you. You idiot!" Addams shouted, swiftly storming out after. Wilfred looked to The Doctor hopefully. He must have a plan, of course. "I know you, though. I bet you've got a plan, haven't you? Eh? Come on! You've always got a trick up your sleeve. Nice little bit of the old Doctor flimflam." Wilfred laughed a little, his voice eventually cutting short at The Doctor's expression. "Sort of thing? Eh?"
The Doctor said nothing in response. Instead, he shifted his gaze to look at Wilfred. His face was solemn, yet could also be mistaken as thoughtful. Wilfred shakily breathed out, realising that he could potentially never go back to Earth again. He turned his head from The Doctor and put a hand to the side of his face. "Oh, blimey." He mumbled, as silence fell inside the ship.
Int. Naismith Mansion, Lab, NIGHT
The Master let out a slow breath, shaking his arms once and fiddling with his cuffs. "Night has fallen. Are we ready?" He questioned, the plan he had constructed earlier about to be put to use. The Naismith-Master stood forward, nodding, "Every single one of us is prepared."
The Master smiled crazily, his moment of glory about to unfold at last. He would figure out what the drumming inside his head is, once and for all. Yet, no matter how hard he would try, he couldn't completely focus on the drumbeat. Not with Kayla in the room, distracting him. He didn't worry too much on that fact, for there's six billion of him in the world. What is one compared?
"Then we listen, all of us, across the world. Just... Listen." The Master instructed, closing his eyes. Kayla glanced around the room nervously, seeing every single other Master copying. "Concentrate. Find the signal." The Master told them, deep in thought. Kayla's head began to throb slightly, an all to0-familiar beat playing throughout her mind... Or was it in the room?
The Master's eyes snap open, as everyone on Earth listens to the loud four beat rhythm. "There. The sound is tangible. Someone could only have designed this. But who?" He frowned deeply, concentrating on the sound once more. A loud thud was suddenly heard, startling The Master out of his thoughts. He turned to the noise to see that Kayla had fainted, and was currently on the floor. The Master looked to the two guards whom were supposedly looking after her, only to see them in a trance of some sort. The Master rolled his eyes at this, but after a moment reluctantly walked over and lifted her into a sitting position, resting her against the wall.
The Master was there for a few seconds, looking at her passed out expression. How long ago had it been since he was so close to her? However his thoughts were disturbed once again, but it was different. It was a faint rumble, which soon become louder and louder. "The sound... It's coming from above." The Naismith-Master said, as The Master stood up in confusion. "It's coming from the sky!" He exclaimed, swiftly running past the guards and onto the balcony. He gasped upon seeing a flame of sorts speed through the sky, through space. He didn't plan this... Unless it's connected to the rhythm. He suddenly grinned at this possibility.
"There!" The Master pointed to the trail in the sky triumphantly, "Get out there and find it!"
