The moment I smelled his blood from a far and felt that void in my heart whiçh I had once felt for herwhen I thought I lost her...

Ruki is my one and only true mate. He wasn't just someone I was forced into marriage to have pups with. He is my one true love. If I were to lose him...

I run as fast as I could in my wolf form.
I abandoned my wife... Hell, even my two sons...
No one else matters for me ... Only Ruki...
But then, as I get closer and closer to their territory, I could also smell his blood getting thicker in the air as I approached. I was filled in raged the moments I saw his blood soaking the ground. I whimpered and turned to follow the trails of blood leading to a river in hopes of finding Ruki alive but then, I was tackled onto the ground by none other than their pack's alpha...

I am an alpha too but he was a lot more bigger and stronger than me. He had easily thrown me against a bark of a tree and I could do nothing about it as the impact instantly weaken me and made me transform back to my human self.
Looking at him now, I knew that I'm nothing compared to him. He had a lot of experiences in fighting than me. Hell, I can't even defend my own pack and run away like a coward with my tail in between my legs when hunters almost wipe us down. How can I possibly defeat a man who looks so determined in killing me?
He had even warned me about showing my face to him ever again...

"Ruki.... Where is Ruki? " I gasped deeply as I felt something poking me sharply at my side. Probably, a rib bone judging by the way a sharp edge juts out of my skin. I coughed and blood came out. I tried to sat up but only grimaced in pain.
He only gnarled at me before he run to me and bit a chunk out of my shoulder. I screamed in pain as blood spurt out from the wound. Other wolves watch us fearfully while the she-wolves went to hide their children. I ignored them as I turned back to the large grey wolf in front of me with tears falling from my eyes...
...I really am pathetic for an alpha...
You ruined my son... Now... You must die along with him you scum!
He exclaimed telephatically as my breath got caught in my throat.
