"Describing a scene matters"

If you read my previous UOP then you'd probably be saying "didn't she say that too many details were a pet peeve?" and you'd be correct,i did say that but,i only meant the unnecessary details such as : how a MC brushes her hair and does her makeup or how she picks up her phone that is protected by a red colored case that has sailor moon stickers on its back from her nightstand.......no.
What i mean by describing a scene is : drawing a vivid image for the reader with the use of relevant features,all in all,quick but thorough.
