"Why does every werewolf story become dull by chapter 3?"

So i tried reading some werewolf fiction here on wattpad not too long ago (never done it before so i said why not?),i picked the ones that had the most votes and views and tbh i had thought that they were going to be interesting at first...but then suddenly every story (literally every story and i chose about 7+ ) turned to : biting,a possessive dude roaring "MiiIiiIiiiiiIIiiiNe" and a cherry picked female lead that cannot stop shaking and breathing heavily....why? couldn't make it past chapter 3 (or 5 in some).
