"The MC's excessive crying needs to stop"

Okay,we get it,MC is very emotional and can't handle stressful situations all that well,but reading two whole chapters in a row of her balling her eyes out while stuttering at the sight of the other lead or of anybody in that matter is such an inconvenience for the reader!!
You literally could have skipped all that jazz if you described the situation in a small paragraph but nooo we have to witness MC shed pearls when waking up,after having breakfast,while being in college,at the library,with her friends,walking back home,encountering the male lead and so on and so on.....
It's a no,just...no?
