Chapter 17

Yesterday I saw the girl from my past. My first love. The one I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with. The one girl that I would only see beauty in her and her only. I wouldn't  look at any other girl when she was around and it all changed. When I saw this girl, I could only think about what I used to feel for her and what the old times used to be like. All the jokes, all the laughs, all of the everything. Then she suddenly changed, she didn't notice me anymore, she was distant and she acted like she didn't know me or want to be around me. She didn't want me to exist and that hurt, but in this moment I still feel for her. I still love her, remembering the old times brought back all the good and all the bad, but all the good outweighs the bad. Despite what she put me through, I still can't help what I feel for her in this moment. I'm not mad at Cal anymore because I understand.

I'm mad at myself for feeling this way and I know I shouldn't because of all the pain she put me through and I finally found this girl. I can't say I can spend the rest of my life with her. I don't have history with her. The only good memories I have with her is the skatepark but that one memory is enough, enough to say I should be with her and not Lucy. My mind and my heart is in a constant battle right now. My mind tells me to stay with Annabelle, she's good for you, but my heart is saying Lucy Lucy Lucy. Right now, I agree with my mind. I need to stay with Annabelle right now. I need to see where this goes. I need the good and possibly the bad. Every relationship see's those things. So I grab my phone and dial her number.

"Hello?" I hear her sweet voice

"Hey" I say with a slight smile on my face.

"Oh look who it is. The romantic skaterboy." She says giggling at herself

"That's me." I say

"Is something wrong?" She asks with so much concern in her voice.

"No. Everything is fine." I lie not wanting to tell my potential girlfriend.

"It's fine if you want to tell me.You sound like how I used to." She said

"Like how?" I ask

"Like the darkness caught up and you feel so consumed by it, you just want to go towards it and be done with it." She said in an understanding tone

"Its fine really. I just want to talk to you." I say cutely

"Did you really think that would work?" She said giggling.

"What?" I asked smirking

"Making your voice sound oh so appealing to get your way." She said mimicking my voice.

"It was worth a try." I said chuckling

"In the future, bring a handy amount of money cause I like to eat. Just saying."

"Future?" I ask smirking

"Yes future. I had a good time."

"Yeah me too."

"If you're lucky, You might get what you wanted before I skated down that ramp." She said seductivly

"Oh really. I can finally get that kiss."

"Yes. You can finally turn into that handsome prince I've been waiting for."

"Finally, turn,and handsome all in the same sentence."

"Yes. You finally saw the day of those three words being together." She said laughing

"I don't remember it being that funny." I say with a pout on my face

"It was. Anyway I have to go. James wants to go bae hunting. Remind me to look for new friends on the way." She said as James started to mumble something.

"Will do. Have fun but not too much fun.i scolded.

"Promise." She said and with that, the line went dead.

That was what I needed. I'm so down. Speaking of down, I headed downstairs to find Cal. I saw him stuffing his face with marshmallows with Michael.

"CUBBY BUNNY!"Cal shouted

" CUBBY MUNNY" Mikey shouted.

Cal spit out his marshmallows and started doing a victory dance.

"I won. I won. I won. Who won. Oh that's right. Cal-pal." He said looking at me. I started clapping.

"Congrats and I'm sorry about yesterday." I said looking him in the eyes.

"It's fine. We're mates." He said and with that he smiled.
