Part 2 of Chappie 14!

It's Kayla again.

I'm not going to make this long so...

Here's Part 2 of the date, still in Annabelle's POV. The first part is a mini recap, just the last sentence I left off with.

Annabelle's POV-

Right there and then I knew this was going to be a great date.

I didn't wait to eat or be served, I dove right in. I'm not like most girls, all prissy and eating nicely.

No.

I'm basically one of the guys, which James hates, but I tell him it's good to have a boyish side.

I can be girly too.

"You must've been hungry", Ashton said.

"Yeah, plus I really like pizza", I said with a mouth full of food.

I realized that wasn't polite and quickly apologized.

"Sorry", I said swallowing my food, looking down in embarrassment.

"It's alright, I think it's cute when girls have a boyish side to them. The boys will definitely like you", Ashton said.

I looked up confused not knowing who the "boys" were.

"The boys", I asked confused.

"Luke, Michael, and Calum, they're my best friends", he said.

"Oh them, yeah they seem pretty cool and funny. Just watch out for James if they ever meet. He goes crazy around boys", I said rolling my eyes.

Ashton started laughing really hard.

I guess I'm really funny.

"I can just imagine their faces right now", he said smiling.

Me and Ashton continued to talk for about and hour.

We talked about everything you could think of.

It was mostly he talking though. I didn't really have anything to talk about. All the memories I have are dark and twisted.

He finally asked me that one question I was dreading. The one he would eventually figure out.

"I told you about me, now it's your turn", he said fully listening to me.

I looked down at the ground, avoiding eye contact.

"I rather not, trust me you'll figure out sooner or later", I said whispering the last part.

He looked at me weird, as if he heard the last part.

"That's perfectly fine with me, but let's move on and do something you'll never forget", he said.

"Excuse me", I said looking at him weird.

"Not that you dirty animal, even though I wouldn't mind but, I meant skateboard. One for me and one for you", he said handing me a skateboard.

It's not my fault I have a dirty mind.

We got up and went to a little ramp.

"We'll start off nice and simple, plus don't break that skateboard, it's Luke's. He'll kill me", Ashton said.

I just looked at him and nodded.

He showed me a simple way to go down the hill.

Might I say he looked good riding a skateboard (surft board, lol I had to).

I looked at the ramp then looked at him.

"I am not going down that", I said looking at him again.

"Oh come on, it's not that steep. I'll hold you if you want", he said.

"Okay fine", I said giving in.

Ashton came over to me, holding his hands out signaling for me to hold on.

When my hands touched his, I felt the same feeling I felt before.

We instantly looked into each others eyes.

My brown meeting his hazel ones.

A minute passed and we were still holding our gaze.

Ashton started to lean in, eyes closing.

That's when everything started to go black. I was slowly slipping into the darkness.

Pictures and flashes of my mom started to to appear everywhere.

I could feel myself changing.

Multiple replicas of my mother were standing around me and Ashton.

She was smirking.

I held it back, telling myself it wasn't real.

When I realized it was over, I looked at Ashton still seeing him leaning in.

I quickly sat on my skateboard and slid down the ramp. My actions making Ashton jump back and blush in embarrassment.

"Woohoo, that was fun. You should try it", I said looking up at him from the ground.

"Okay", Ashton said still flustered but forgetting what happened.

Me and Ashton messed around with the skateboards some more. It was 11 o'clock when we left.

We drove for fifteen minutes until I was home.

"Thanks for tonight, I had so much fun", I said smiling.

"No problem, we should do this again", he said.

"Okay, I wouldn't mind", I said.

"Cool, ummm, see you Monday at school", he said.

"See you Monday", I said getting out of the car and walking to my door.

It was unlocked, James probably forgetting to lock it.

I waved to Ashton one more time before closing the door.

I walked straight up stairs to my room. I didn't bother taking my clothes off.

I laid in bed thinking of the events that took place tonight.

"What a night", I whispered to myself closing my eyes.

But then I felt my stomach grumble, I guess I was hungry again.

So I walked downstairs into the kitchen to see James staring at me.

Here we go.
