"Why are we at the witchcraft side of town?" Annabelle asked sqeeuzing my hand.

"I heard you loved this side of town" I say stopping and turn to look her in her eyes

"From James?" She asks

"Yes. Is their a problem?" I ask already knowing their is.

"I'm going to kill James. He knows I'm against witchcraft." She says boiling over

"Come on, it'll be fun. Plus I don't have a plan B." I whine and drag her towards a shop.

"Just know, I'm not going to get into it. It's going to be like you're here by yourself." She huffs

"I have a feeling you'll love it." I tease

"Well keep on feeling." She says rolling her eyes.

I drag her towards a palm reading shop. I heard this place has the best predictions. Wonder what they'll be. I open the door for her and she gives me a small smile.

"Are you here to predict your future?" A middle aged woman with a messy bun asked

"No, we're actually looking for directions. It seems that we might be lost." Annabelle told the lady.

"No, I think we're at the right place. This is the shop with the best predictions right?" I ask looking at Anna sideways.

"Ahhh you're at the right place." The woman says beckoning us.

"See we're at the right place." I smirk and Anna rolls her eyes.

"Young lady, is this your first time?" The woman asks

"Is that one of your predictions?" Anna mocks and woman starts laughing a creepy laugh.

"We have a first-timer here." The woman says and Annabelle slows her pace and looks at me.

"What?" I ask grabbing her hand.

"Did you hear her laugh. She's creepy as shit. I want to leave." She says pushing me a little.

"How about this. I just go and you can watch. " I say

"Do you always like someone watching." She laughs and leads the way towards the woman. I just roll my eyes.

"Looks like I'm riding solo for this one." I say giving the woman $5.

"So what line would you like to know about?" The woman asks

"All the lines." I say and sit down in front of her.

"Starting with the life line, I sense that you were once in love and got hurt. In the future you are going to fall in love again but their are going to be obstacles. Oh." She says and looks at my palm intensely.

I look over to Annabelle and she frowns at me. I look back at the woman waiting impatiently.

"It seems you will almost get your life taken away from you by the one you care about." She says looking up at me and I frown.

"I think the life line was enough for me today. Thanks." I say and get up.

Annabelle follows me. Once we're outside she sprints in front of me and stops, causing me to stop walking.

"Damn. Were the champion at power walking." She jokes and walk toward me and hugs me. I hug her back.

"Best predictions my ass." She says hugging me tighter. I chuckle and look down at her.

"So you didn't believe it?" I ask

"I already told you from the beginning I don't." She says and looks up at me.

"You're right. No one can predict death." I say and she nods, smiling.
