Rebecca had just finished her typical day at the hospital when she arrived home to her apartment which she shared with her best friend Naomi and her daughter Maya.

"Hey Nomi, I'm home" said Becca as she opened the apartment door. Confussion insantly stricked her as she did not gain a response. "Nomi? Naomi?"

Finally, Naomi answered "We're in here Beccs" Once again Rebecca was left confussed as she walked to place her bag on the sofa and walked to the kitchen still out of sight to Naomi as she answered "We? I thought Maya was with Sam tonight so we can go out for dinner. Our reservations are in an hour".

"Well, I think we might need to reschedule" Naomi answered. Walking into the kitchen Becca said "What! Did Sam have to go ..." before freezing in shock seeing who was sitting in her kitchen.

"Becca..." said the woman in a sorrowful tone.

"Addie" Rebecca answered her eyes wide still in shock seeing the woman for the first time after catching her in bed with her boyfriend.

The following day Rebecca was sitting on a park bench a coffee im hand watching the day past by with her good friend Sam. Despite his divorce with her best friend they all had been friends for years and after how supporing both of them had been after she moved to LA she decided not to take sides in the divorce.

"So you just walked in and she was there. In the kitchen?" Sam asked trying to gain his head around the situation after hearing Becca rant and reave about Addie for at least 10 minutes.

"Right there. In the kitchen" she stated while taking a sip of her coffee.

"And you haven't talked to her?" He asked. "Nope" She answered popping the 'p'.

"Cmon Becca. You have to talk to her. She is your best friend. And still legally your sister, I think. Actually I don't know it's hard catching up with all this drama."

She just smiled taking a sip of her coffee.

"You have to talk to her Rebecca..."

She jumped from her seat knowing that she had to but not sure how to talk to who she saw as her sister at one point.

"I have to go I have surgery. I'll see you later okay"

Sam just looked at his friend knowing he should of been more sensitive as he was aware of how hurt she was when she suddenly jumped on a plane to LA the night she found Addison and Mark together.

"Rebecca" she heard as she was a walking through the halls of her hospital. She turned to see Addison walking towards her, practically running seeing Becca was not acknowledging her.

"Becca please" Addion pleaded. "I'm sorry, okay. I'm a terrible person. Just please..."

"What Addie? Forgive you?" She said finally turing locking eyes with Addison's for the first time in which felt like years.

"I hurt you and I'm sorry, but you could of stayed..."

"Addie! You don't get it do you? Yes I'm hurt you slept with Mark because Mark and I alwyas had something and when we finally tried to make a go of it, you and him - happened" She said loudly whispering trying not to draw attention to herself.

"But I got over it. Because he is Mark and it was just a matter of time before he cheated. But what I didn't get over is the fact that what you two did led my brother to fly across the states without even saying goodbye to me. I didn't think he would leave without me." She continued holding back her tears.

"But he did because of you! So that's why i left New York not because I couldn't stand being around you or Mark but because I couldn't stand being there without Derek"
She said walking away from Addie to calm herself before her surgery.

After a long day of surgeries and multiple successes she walked into Naomi and Sam's Private Practice.

She was shocked to see Addison crying on the sofa of Naomi's office.

"Addie ... I was harsh I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you it's just..." She was cutt off by Naomi
"Becca, it's not that. Addie came to LA for me to check her chances at fertility. It's quite impossible for her to have a baby her FCH level is high" Naomi said slowly while rubbing Addie's back.

"Oh Addie..." Rebecca had no idea what to say until she heard Addison start to cry again saying " I just didn't realise I was out of time" Addie said. In that moment Becca did not see Addie as the woman who slept with her boyfriend or created the separation between hersef and her brother but the Addie she loved and adored before all of that. Her sister. The one who comforted her throughout the 11 years of marriage between herself and Derek. And was more of a sister ti her than her actually sisters.

Rebecca held Addie in her arms as she cried. "It's gonna be okay Addie, I'm always here." Addison looked up, bringing her face away from her hands looking at who she always saw as a little sister and showed the biggest smile Rebecca had ever saw. She grabbed on to Rebecca as they embraced eachother in a sisterly hug.

"I'm so sorry Beccs"

"It's okay, it's okay..."

Naomi watched with a smile before saying "Hey, I have an idea."

Both women truned with a questionable look unsure where their friend was going with this.

"Girls night? Cocktails and dancing? Just like old times!" Naomi said with a giggle.

Addison and Rebecca laughed before looking at each other and saying with a smile "Just like old times!"

They linked arms strutting out of the Practice before Naomi shouted towards Sam's office "Sam you're babysitting". As Becca and Addie laughed.
