Rebecca had just returned home to New York after completing her residency.  It was her first day as a Cardio Attending in her brother's practice. She was finishing charts on her patients when she was approached by her brother and her sister-in-law who seemed to be in the middle of an argument. 

"Becky, how was your first day?" Derek asked as he walked away from Addie and ignored the conversation they were in the middle of. 

"Yeah it was great, thank you" She answered unsure of the situation that was between her brother and best friend. "How are you two?"

"Oh, we're fantastic just found out I have to spend another weekend away from my husband because everything seems to be a bigger priority to him then me!" Addie said in a shouted whisper to avoid the eyes of rest of the practice. 

"I have to go it's for a patient!" Derek snapped back before his wife continued "Everything seems to be 'for a patient' these days when is it going to be for your wife!"

Rebecca stood back watching the scene unfold regretting asking how they were. She had never been so pleased to see Mark Sloan approaching her. He practically saved her for the horrific domestic argument. 

"Little Shepherd, how did your first day go?" He asked while approaching. "Ah thank god it's Mark, yes good until I was in the middle of a shouting match".

Derek and Addie glared at her while Mark raised his eyebrows before realizing and adding "Oh, are they fighting again?" Rebecca nodded while Addie put her hands through her hair in frustration and Derek scoffing. 

"Well, who fancies a drink?" Mark asked "To celebrate Becca's first day." Becca smiled before they both turned to the couple. 

"No, I have to pack I have an early flight tomorrow" Derek said breaking the awkward silence. "You're leaving tomorrow? Gosh do you ever tell me anything!" They argument continued as they both started leaving the practice leaving Mark and Becca standing shocked by the scene that just unfolded before their eyes.

"So drink?" Becca asked. "Definitely".

Few hours later and many drinks later. Mark and Becca were both drunk and talking about everything and anything. Many flirty comment were said between the both and many laughs were shared. 

"So, you have practically slept with every woman that works at the practice?"

"Not every woman" Mark responded in an unconvincing tone.

"Name one...." she said as she leaned closer towards him.

After a long silence for Mark to think of an answer he responded "Addison!" 

"Well I'd hope not since she is married to your best friend . . . Name another one!" she tested.

"Right . . . You!" he said quickly She only looked at him and started laughing "You really haven't changed have you - still sleeping with everything with a pulse."

"With a pulse and that it hot, like really hot" He responded taking another sip of his drinks a showcasing his signature Mark Sloan smirk. 

In her drunken state she instantly responded with "Well obviously not or you would've slept with me, I am ridiculously hot"

And his drunken state he said "That you are and if you gave me chance I would take it". By this point the conversation had escalated they looked at each other full of desire.
