Epilogue
Over the past few years, the relationship between Michelle and Jimin has been challenging at times. They had been dating for about six months when rumors broke out about Jimin being off the market. They had been spotted a couple of times and even though Michelle was never identifiable in those photos that appeared on multiple platforms like Dispatch, Jimin was easily found out and rumors were quick to appear. On many Social Media platforms like Weverse, Vlive, Instagram, and Twitter messages were posted for the 'mystery girlfriend'.
And even though there were plenty of positive messages from supporting fans that were happy Jimin found someone that could possibly be the one he would want to share his life with, there were a plethora of hate comments telling the 'mystery girlfriend' to leave him alone, that she wasn't deserving of him, that she should kill herself and many other comments along those lines.
Michelle tried to ignore it as much as possible, but seeing the fandom she had been proud be call herself a part of, was hard for her to suddenly hate on her so much. Even when ARMY didn't know who they were hating on, they knew the 'mystery girlfriend' could see their comments and felt a sense of pride knowing they had that power.
Jimin, the rest of BTS, and even Hitman Bang tried their best to keep the peace and explain that Jimin's personal life was none of their business. That after almost six years of being part of BTS he had earned the right to his privacy and that even though they love ARMY, they had no right to tell him who he could and could not date. It was his life and his choice.
The members of BTS tried their absolute best to support Michelle as much as they could. But it proved to be difficult as Michelle turned more and more into a shell of what she used to be, the hate was slowly getting too much for her and caused her to crawl into a shell and barely peek out. Jimin was soon left with a very quiet, shy, and insecure version of the woman he loved with his entire body.
As the guys were on tour when this drama started, it was hard for Jimin to physically be there for Michelle. Wanting nothing more than to hold her in his arms and tell her he would be able to fix the mess that was his life as an idol, he couldn't provide much but reassuring words and promises he would do everything for to fulfill.
With Michelle keeping herself busy with the multiple offers she had received once she was finished at Big Hit Entertainment, it wasn't a possibility to fly her out to the US or Europe when the boys had a week free of concerts. After JYP Entertainment, Michelle had taken on SM Entertainment and was planning to move on to Stone Music Entertainment. She would've liked to move onto YG Entertainment after SM, but seeing as they weren't located in Seoul, SME was a smarter choice. With FNC Entertainment and Cube Entertainment waiting after SME, Michelle had a busy schedule as was slowly growing her name in both the entertainment industry as well as the interior design industry.
