"Will you promise to write to me during the break?" Hermione turned to Draco with a smile. She was going to the Weasley's for the break, and she'd probably be there for most of the holiday. Her parents were still quite upset and they were still in St. Mungo's.

"I promise to write to you, Granger," he said. Her smile widened and she turned back to the lake. It was now almost completely frozen over and covered in flakes of snow.

"I might be able to visit at some point." She said, "My parents are still a bit upset, and I'm sure that it would have been a very awkward interaction."

"It would be great if you could come for a day. I'm sure mother will be happy to see you, and I actually planned on telling her that we are dating tomorrow. I wanted the opportunity to tell her in person and I thought it would make a great, early Christmas present." Draco said

"I'm sure that she'll be very enthusiastic. She was the one who wanted us to date in the first place." Hermione said, a smile forming on her face as she remembered the night Draco told her how much his mother wanted them to be together. She had even sent her some of her favourite flowers with a note telling her that she should give Draco a chance.

They had laughed at that for a good twenty minutes.

"I'm pretty sure that Aunt Andromeda is also coming for Christmas with Teddy. I know how much Teddy misses you and I'm certain that with my aunt there, everything will be more chaotic. I'm not sure if I'll be able to survive the whole two weeks with the two of them." he said

"You'll be fine, Draco. God you're so dramatic sometimes."

He smirked and kissed her, the kiss deepening and almost going further. They wouldn't have stopped if their warming charms didn't wear off.

"When are you going to tell Harry and Ron?" Ginny asked, making sure that Harry and Ron were deep enough in their own conversation to not hear what she had said.

"I'm not sure. They're not going to take it very well. I'm just going to let something happen and if they accidentally find out, then I'll know that it was meant to happen at that moment." Hermione replied

"That's a terrible idea, 'Mione! I'm just saying, I think it would be better if you just told them." said Ginny

"Yes, that's what you think would be best. I'm going to do what I feel is best." Hermione said.

Ginny and Hermione stayed in silence for the rest of the train ride, not wanting to over-step in each other's boundaries with what to say. They both had very different views on Hermione's problem and she was now realizing that Ginny had a point. It would be better to just tell them.

---

Draco looked at Hermione on the other side of the train station and gave her a small smile. She gave him a small smile back and waved. He turned back to more pressing matters and smiled at his aunt, mother, and Teddy.

His mother gave him a light hug and kissed him on the forehead. Draco tried not to blush as he noticed some eyes on him, most people glaring at them. He shook himself out of his mother's grasp and moved over to his aunt. He ruffled Teddy's blue hair and gave his aunt a kiss on the cheek.

"Let's get home, Draco. We'll be happy to listen to you rant about the past few weeks. I'm sure you have something good to tell us about Hermione as well." Narcissa said happily. Draco's cheeks flushed and he worried that his mother and aunt already knew something.
