And I saw you again tonight.
Though my mind has already registered that fact,
My heart still beats fast when I see your charming face and artsy hands.
My head refuses to turn front,
Eventhough there was a temptation there,
A devil calling out to my eyes as it shoves its asset right down to my iris,
Still my eyes yearn to look upon you,
The beautiful creature whom my heart believes is out of this world.
Because you seem unfaze by the eyes that trail you,
Or the noises under that cramped tunnel,
And passers by who squel and rush through the narrow path.
Your fingers gently but magically testing out their senses,
And it was music that you alone could hear.
I see your eyes are locked to the spaces as I wonder,
Is it your mind that arranges the keys?
Or is it your heart that sways?
And I look again,
Sure that you and I are born on different constellations,
And would never reach each other.
But you're like the star at night,
Whose beauty travels so far and fast,
Radiating upon us wanderers,
And yet my head is the only one that turns,
The only ears that try to go the miles to hear your effortless rhythm,
The only heart that beats so quickly at the sight of you,
And the only lips that are curved as your light shine.
I saw you again tonight,
And I knew you will forever stay in my memory though I am a stranger to your mind and whole being.
