| areum's pov | i was on top of a hill. i looked around and it was absolutely beautiful. everything looked saturated. although my body felt different. i had this rush in my body, i had no idea what it was.
i saw this big building in the center of the world. i decided to walk there to see if i could get answers. it was pretty far.
once i finally arrived, i saw other people walking around. i wondered if they died too? i was expecting to see wings but i didn't. i was confused, i guess it wasn't like a fairytale.
"hey are you lost?" a girl came towards me with a smile on her face.
"yeah i am" i chuckled at her.
"i can tell. let me walk you to the principal so she can help!" she said as i followed her inside the building. was this a school or something? we were walking up these steep stairs that seemed never ending. we finally made it to a steeled closed door.
"my name is joohee by the way!" she said as she knocked on the door. she seemed so nice and happy. the doors opened and i saw a woman. it was probably the principal, right?
"i knew you'd find your way here areum!" she said as she welcomed me in and joohee left. i sat on the chairs in front of her desk.
"my name is miss hemline, i am the headline of the fairy world! i see you've chosen and sent here" she said and i was shocked at her words. does that mean everyone here died?
"i know this must be confusing to you right now, but let me explain" she said as i nodded.
"first off, every person that has been sent here has died. i hope that answers one of your question. we've all been through some kind of death. second off, we don't have wings, it slowly develops and takes a long process. third off, i know you must be wondering why you're still in the same body you died in, but that's just how it is here. you're also the same age before you died. same goes for everyone in this world. we don't age because we're practically dead already. fourth off, this place is to pass time as the heavens work a way for you to reincarnate, you never know when you will reincarnate until they tell you about three days before you have to. and lastly fifth off, welcome to fairy world! here you will be learning all kinds of stuff, developing your powers, meeting new people! i hope you'll love it here" she said as i sat there processing this in my head. it started making all sense now.
"now come, i will show you your dorm with the others" miss hemline said as she guided me to my dorm. everyone was looking at me.
"heads up, people ask around how you died, that's just how it is when someone new is sent" she said and i nodded. we arrived at my dorm.
