| areum's pov | days later | sunghoon is still pretty weak, i was too but not as much as him. he's been in bed pretty much, he hasn't gone to class in a while due to being weak. he needed to rest, but today he was doing much better.
"are you hungry sunghoon?" i asked and he shook his head no as he held me in his arms.
"yeah he is" niki said and sunghoon scoffed at him.
"quit reading my mind" sunghoon said chuckling and niki laughed. i got up to find food for sunghoon.
"i'll get you food" i said as i left.
| sunghoon's pov | areum left to get me food. i couldn't believe how lucky i was to have someone like her. she's everything to me. suddenly miss hemline walked in and niki left.
"sunghoon, you and areum are safe here. please don't ever go out again. we've had put a border to not allow the fairies from the other side including jaehyuk allowed in. it's for both of your guys safety" she said smiling at me. i honestly thought miss hemline would give up on us or be scared of us, but she wasn't.
"thank you miss hemline" i said and she nodded.
"of course, i'm glad to see you doing better! come to class soon" she said smiling and leaving. areum came back and greeted miss hemline on her way out. areum brought soup for me. she's figured out my favorite soup, which was chicken noodle soup.
"thanks love" i said chuckling and she was blushing. i could feel her heart beat beating fast.
"all cause i said love?" i said chuckling while sipping on my soup.
"yes" she said simply while chuckling.
"love love love love" i said and she was giggling. she looks so happy. i cupped my hand on her cheek and looked at her. her face became serious. she's so beautiful.
"what sunghoon" she said worriedly and i chuckled at her.
"you're just so beautiful" i said and she smacked me playfully and her heart beat was beating fast again.
"just finish your soup and let's go outside! i wanna walk by the garden" she said and i nodded sipping all my soup.
| areum's pov | everyone left for class but today i wanted to stay with sunghoon. i didn't want to leave him ever again. he finally finished his soup and we walked outside to the garden.
"catch up to me" i said as sunghoon was pretty slow. he chuckled at me and started walking faster. the garden was pretty as always.
"remember our first time talking here from the party" sunghoon brought up and i nodded.
"i think that's when i fell in love with you" he said. i looked at him shocked.
"that was only a day or two after you arrived" i said and he chuckled.
"i mean you caught my heart the second i saw you in class" he said and i smiled at him. he was so sweet. what would i do without this sunghoon in my life.
"i love you" i said suddenly and he stopped me in my tracks and cupped my face to kiss me. our bodies were lighting up but it wasn't so bright. i could just feel it lighting.
"i love you too" he said after he broke the kiss. we walked around some more to get sunghoons blood going. then we walked back inside. everyone was at the cafeteria for breakfast and we went to sit with the others.
"hey soulmates" jay said and sat down.
"you look much better sunghoon" jake said and sunghoon smiled at him.
"i am doing better" he said and i looked at jungwon. he seemed better too.
"jungwon, i'm sorry but i'm glad you're better" i said and he looked at me confused.
"don't be sorry. i'm doing better" he said smiling at me cutely.
"how did you even know we were in danger areum? it was like 3 am" heeseung brought up but then i remembered ari.
"it was ari" i said and they all looked at me scared.
"what? ari? but she's dead?" sunoo said.
"she appeared in my dreams and showed me that we were in danger" i said.
"that's crazy, like really crazy. i'm glad she appeared in your dreams though cause then we probably wouldn't be alive right now" jay said and we all agreed. after eating we went back into our dorm for sunghoon to rest again.
"wait areum" sunghoon said before entering his room.
"yeah?" i said.
"can we do the floating air twirly thing" he said i chuckled at him.
"what's with the weird words" i said chuckling. we needed to come up with a name for it.
"let's call it, euphoric" sunghoon said and i understood what he meant by that. it did feel euphoric when we did that.
"what are you guys doing now" jake asked and the others walked in.
"we can show you guys" sunghoon said. that was a first, he never wanted to tell people about any of this. they all say on the couch. our ceiling was pretty high so we didn't need to worry about hitting it.
sunghoon hugged me this time instead of holding hands. we closed our eyes and i could feel my feet lifting off from the floor. i opened my eyes to look at sunghoon and he was smiling at me. he leaned in to kiss me passionately. we've never kissed while doing our euphoric. i could sense our powers swirling we're going faster.
"woahhhhhh" i heard niki say and i could feel myself getting stronger, that means sunghoon was too. we slowly fell onto the ground this time.
"THAT WAS SO COOL" jay said and everyone had their mouths opened.
"why can't we be like that" jake said to joohee and she smacked him.
"i envy you guys" heeseung said in awe. i looked at sunghoon and he looked even better now.
"guys, i feel so much better! i don't feel weak anymore" sunghoon said and i was happy. maybe our euphoric was a way of healing also.
