| areum's pov | days later | i woke up in time for class, i've been trying to wake myself up so joohee doesn't have to. i got ready to head for class. i sat next to sunghoon, we've gotten closer the past couple days. ever since the truth or dare game, we've become more comfortable with each other.
"morning areum" sunghoon said with a cute smile, i pinched his cheeks cause he looked so cute.
"owwww what was that for" he said holding his cheek.
"alright class, i'll have you guys practice your powers once again and go from there" miss hemline said. once she's gone through with every student, it came to us.
"sunghoon i would like to see what you could do" miss hemline said. sunghoon focused on the feelings and the food was on fire. i grabbed water from the glass with my powers and put out the fire. miss hemline was shocked looking at us.
"what's with the look?" me and sunghoon asked.
"meet with me after class is over" miss hemline said seriously. i looked at sunghoon confused and he did the same. after a while class was over, the students left.
"follow me" miss hemline said. she took us into her office. she had us sit down in the chairs.
"did you tell anyone else about your powers sunghoon" miss hemline asked. sunghoon shook his head no.
"well i told heeseung cause he was curious" i said and miss hemline looked shocked again. what is it? suddenly she went to her book case and grabbed something.
"look at this" miss hemline said and i was confused as she opened the book.
"there used to be a couple who lived in this world years years ago, they had the same powers as you both. they were strong together and couldn't be apart from each other. there was some kind of connection that pulled them together. even if they didn't want the connection, it was there no matter what. the fairy world hated them together because they were too strong together. so they tried breaking them apart, but it just made them even stronger. the fairy world decided to execute them for their connection and powers. and they were unable to reincarnate. we thought the powers would never come back within a fairy anymore, but i guess not" miss hemline said. me and sunghoon looked at each other scared. they were killed? for powers like me and sunghoon?
"you can read more about it, and ask any questions. i'll be right here. and do not worry, i will not let anything happen to you both" miss hemline said reassuring us. she gave us the book and we saw pictures of the couple. they looked like a happy couple.
"if they focused onto their feelings and held onto each other they would rise up in the air as their water and fire powers combined with one another" i read in the book confused. there was a picture, it looked beautiful.

"their powers balanced with one another, they loved the feeling as they risen up, because it gave some kind of balanced" i read, what did this mean for me and sunghoon?
"they were practically soulmates" sunghoon said and i looked at him shocked. i mean i agreed, it was true.
"their powers complimented one another, which made them stronger together. they both loved each other dearly, but they had a bad mindset of ruining the fairy world. after a while when they were here, they had some sort of connection pulling them together. their bodies would lighten up and it meant they needed to hold one another to calm it down. they needed each other. one time they locked them up separately and they would have dreams of each other because they were separated. i'm not sure what kind of dreams though." miss hemline said. was that going to happen to us?
"what was their names?" i asked.
"ari and sang woo" miss hemline said. weird they had the same first letters as us.
"i'm not sure what it'll mean for you both. it's been so long since this had happened. i was worried after finding out you had water powers areum. but if anyone tries to say or do anything to you both please let me know" miss hemline said and we nodded. me and sunghoon left miss hemlines office worried.
"are you okay?" sunghoon said and i nodded. he put his arms around my shoulder and we walked back into our dorm. i was not okay, i was scared to death. i mean what if people hates us?
"it's okay areum, i'm always gonna be here for you" sunghoon said holding me as we sat on the couch. he was so warm, i didn't know what to feel anymore.
"hey just sleep, i'll be here" sunghoon said holding me assuring me, i nodded. i soon fell asleep.
| sunghoon's pov | i held onto areum as she fell asleep. i can tell she was exhausted from everything. i can just feel her emotions, it was odd. maybe it was apart of our connection.
joohee suddenly walked in and i told her to be quiet as areum was sleeping.
"what's wrong?" joohee asked. i was gonna get up to talk to joohee but i felt areum hold onto me tighter.
"i'll tell you later" i whispered to joohee and she nodded as she left the room quietly. she probably left with jake. i looked at areum as she was sleeping on my lap. i stroked her hair back so it wasn't in her way. she looked so beautiful as always. i was worried for what could happen to us later on, but i know me and areum will stay strong together. i smiled as i looked at areum.
"i think i'm falling for you" sunghoon said quietly.
