13. the house

training was over and we headed back inside. we all sat in the living room area again.

"i have an idea" jay brought up and all the attention went to him. what idea?

"let's just skip class tomorrow and today we go on a road trip. we barely get to go out from this building. why not go to some place else and explore?" jay said and we all looked at each other. all that was surrounding us was woods and bushes.

"we don't even know what's out there" heeseung said and it made me scared. what did he mean out there?

"i'm sure we can find some kind of house to stay in for the night" jay said and it seemed risky at first but it wouldn't hurt to just skip one day right?

"okay let's go pack then" jungwon said and everyone went there separate ways to pack. after everyone finished packing, we secretly met outside in the back.

"okay there's a van right there, i'll go start it and you guys hop in as fast as you can" jake said. he headed over to the van and started it. we all rushed inside to get in and drove off.

"do you even know how to drive jake" sunoo asked while chuckling at him.

"kind of, in my past life before i died i had my permit" jake said as he held hands with joohee in the front. i was in the back with sunghoon. it was really squished in here.

"it's hot" niki said and jake tried to find out how to turn on the air condition.

"babe can you try and find out which one it is" jake said and joohee immediately turned it on, she already knew.

"i knew which one i was just watching you struggle" she said laughing at him and he let go of her hand. she whined and he held hands with her again. we were following the road, and soon we were out of the woods. we saw a whole city and everything. it was other fairies too, some had wings and some didn't.

"woah, i've never seen this" heeseung said and all the others said they haven't either. they all looked happy.

"maybe this is where fairies come after knowing how to train and control their powers" jungwon said and we all agreed. they all seemed controlled and some had wings meaning they've trained for a long time. we all were admiring the other fairies.

"that looks like an abandoned house" jake said at this huge house. it seemed nobody wanted to go near it. but it was huge it could fit all of us. jake drove up the drive way and we were about to head in.

"hey, nobody goes in there" a random girl said and we all looked at her confused.

"ari and sangwoo used to live here" she brought up.

"it may be haunted" she said and we all looked at her shocked. was that why nobody was here, that's why it was abandoned.

"we were going to burn this place down cause we hated them, but nobody has had the courage to do so" she said and sunghoon held onto me. he knew what she said hurt us, cause we were just like them. she walked away after saying that.

"don't worry about her guys, i'm sure this place means something to you both because of ari and sangwoo" jay said and they all agreed. they weren't scared of it being haunted.

we headed inside, and it still looked nice and neat. it felt like a regular home, like back in the earth world. heeseung left to check how many rooms there were.

"theirs only four rooms" heeseung said. i mean it wasn't surprising, i'm guessing only the two of them lived here.

"well joohee is with me of course" jake said holding onto her waist.

"areum is with me" sunghoon said as he put his arms around me. i swear that was becoming a habit for him. i looked at him and he was smiling at me.

"cant i just be with joohee?" i said. sunghoon and jake shook their heads. joohee was laughing.

"sunoo is with me" niki said.

"well then heeseung and jay is with me then" jungwon said. they let joohee and jake choose a room first then it was us next.

"please leave the twin beds for us" sunoo shouted.

"leave the one with the couch in for us" jungwon said as they had three people. that means only single beds were left. did we wanna be nice and give it to them or we take it?

"let's be nice and just take the single beds. we already sleep together anyways" sunghoon said chuckling. i mean it was true, i didn't really mind which room we picked. everyone picked their rooms and we all settled in. we decided to look at the back and we saw a pool and hot tub.

"they must've been rich or something cause this house is so nice" jay said and we all laughed. we headed downstairs and saw a pool table, darts, and many other games. they must have lived happily together, that's what i want one day.

"let's go swimminggggg" niki said as he left to his room to get changed. sunghoon grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the room.

"let's go swim" he said excitedly. i grabbed my things to go change in the bathroom. while sunghoon changed in the room. we all got changed into our swimsuits. i just had a t-shirt and shorts on and so did joohee. while the rest of the boys were shirtless with shorts on.

"at least put some shirts on" joohee said covering her eyes and everyone laughed at her.

"too bad" jake said as he grabbed her hand and dragged her to the pool, he pushed her in.

"i cant remember the last time i even went swimming" sunoo said as he jumped in splashing water everywhere. while everyone was jumping in i got into the hot tub cause i wanted to feel the warmth.

"hey let me join you" sunghoon said and i just sat down with my eyes closed while facing up the sky.

"you look so beautiful" sunghoon said and i opened my eyes and looked at him.

"why would you say that" i said chuckling, he's never really said anything like that before.

"because you're beautiful" he said with a smile. my heart was fluttering. i didn't know what to do or say.

"thank you" i said smiling and he started blushing.

"y'all are boring come join us in here" jake said. we left the hot tub to go in. i pushed sunghoon in first but then jungwon teleported behind me and pushed me in.

"heyyy that's not fair" i said and he laughed at me.
