| areum's pov | "i cant believe you can just be gone like that" i said shocked that lexi just disappeared.
"that's how it is" joohee said sadly knowing her roommate left. people came into our dorm and removed all of lexi's items. it's like she was never here.
"so what happens to that room now?" i asked.
"either someone new who comes here takes it or it'll just be empty" joohee said and i nodded.
"do you want to work on developing your powers? maybe i can help" joohee said and i agreed. she did the same thing setting up the same items from class. i was hoping the sharp pain wouldn't come again.
"focus on the feelings of your trauma, that's how it worked for me. your powers come from your feelings. we start off with the negative feelings and develop it into positive ones" joohee said and i closed my eyes as i focused on it.
"it's working!" joohee said and i opened my eyes immediately seeing a water droplet in the air from the glass floating, and suddenly it dropped right back in. i sighed.
"it's okay, that was really good for your first day! and you're the first with those powers!" joohee said.
"really? is that a good thing?" i asked.
"well everyone has different powers but i just haven't seen anyone with water powers" joohee said and i nodded.
"it's getting late, let's get to bed for class tomorrow. hopefully you can do that again and show miss hemline" joohee said and i smiled at her as i head for bed.
| the next day | "wake up areum, it's time for class" joohee said as she shook me. i woke up instantly. but the sharp pain was coming back.
"oh no it's back isn't it? i'll get miss hemline" joohee said as i laid back on my bed trying to get rid of the memories. miss hemline came rushing immediately as she held onto me and the pain left.
"thank you miss hemline" i said.
"it's no problem dear, this place should be peaceful i'm so sorry you have to go through the memories again" she said as she told us to get to class soon.
i got ready and we left for class. we sat in the back together again.
"students, we had another person join us in the middle of the night actually! welcome park sunghoon" miss hemline said as he walked in. i looked over and he was mesmerizing. i felt some kind of connection and i didn't know why. i shrugged it off.
