Todays the day I meet the person I hate most in the world, Bella Swan....yay.
I can't believe Edward actually let her come and visit! It's ridiculous, he's letting a human into a house full of vampires! Honestly, I thought Edward was smart. I'm only going to try to be nice for everyone else's sake.
I woke up pretty early. Its a Sunday, a day meant for relaxing, but how on earth am I supposed to relax when Bella is coming over. Jaspers stressing, he's not sure if he'll be able to control himself, Esme's frantically trying to choose something to cook, and I'm just here.
I decided to get to work on that painting Esme asked me to do for her. I spent a while looking through books with different flowers in them until I decided to do a rose. Then I choose the canvas size ( with Dad's help) and started to roughly sketch my drawing out. While I'm looking around for some paintbrushes, Alices bursts into my room and hugs me.
"Ummm...Alice, what's going on?"
"You're going to keep your cool with Bella! I'm so proud of you!"
"Oh...errr, thanks...?"
And with that, she skips happily out of the room! Alice is very odd sometimes, but we all love her for it. Anyway, I found my huge jar of paintbrushes and was looking around for my paint when I heard a car pull up in the driveway!
"They're here! Positions everyone!" Alice shouts.
Positions, oh god no, please don't tell me Alice has some show-like thing planned, because I really can't do this right now. I walk out of my room, lazily, and down the stairs, I can hear Mom, Dad, Emmet, and Rose introducing themselves. I also hear glass shatter? that's odd.
"I'm Alice-" I hear Alice starting to introduce herself, and Carlise explaining Jasper's situation. Then for the first time, I hear Bella speak.
" Don't you have a younger sister Edward?"
Oh gosh, this is my time to shine.
" Yes, that would be me" I saw and skip into the room, trying to not look bothered. Who cares about what Bella thought about me, she was just some stinking human.
"Bella this is Rowan," Edward says, giving me a glare. Well gee dude, just because I didn't give your girlfriend a hug and a kiss doesn't mean you have to be rude. Oh well, Edward will be Edward.
Edward takes Bella on a tour of the rest of the house, and I go back up to my room to finish my painting. This was only the beginning of a long day.
