Oh, dear tree,
You must know death.

Do your leaves that
shrivel and fall,
weep as they lose
their breath?

Could you tell me
If she must have wept?

Could you tell me if there was
anyone to hold her hand ?

When her breath kissed death ,
Did the colours of the
World become bland ?

Oh, dear sky,
You must know grief.

In the form of the thunder
That mourns the loss of rain ,
I've seen your clouds
Wail and screech.

Could you tell me if
She must have heard
Our broken screams?

Could you tell me
If ascending of her soul
Must have felt like a dream?

Could you tell me something?
Anything you can.

Give me a reason,
Help me understand.

The god she prayed to with blind faith
Does he have no shame?

This empty world that she left behind,
Will they remember her name?

Will the air she inhaled
Ever again become breath?

To leave us all and pass above,
How beautiful was it, the death ?
